The first episode was really good!!! I love the Osaka vibes, the cinematography... And the acting from everyone was great too. I always love a good woman-centric drama, so I can't wait to see how it all unfolds!!

As always, the drama I had the least expectations for became one of my favorites of the season! This was so chaotic, and every single family member was absolutely insufferable, but I still enjoyed every second. The dialogues in particular were so clever and flowed so well without ever being overpowered by unnecessary background music. I really loved it!!

The first two episodes have been really good, wow!! I hope they keep this up. I really like Kimura Fumino's character here. It's also super interesting to see the way Kaoru acts when he's at the host club and how different he is when he's with Manami on the rooftop. I really love those scenes, they feel so intimate even though she's just teaching him how to write.

I watched it on TVer when it came out but I don't think it's on there anymore.

It's set after the series and after the special that just came out recently, so I guess you could call it a part 2. All the scenes are completely new!

Sorry, I don't think it's available online yet... I watched it in theaters in Japan.

This was such a nice movie!! All the characters are so lovable, old and new. I didn't expect Moe to make me the most emotional, but one of her scenes got me teary eyed in the theater. (':
I'm still kinda hoping for a season 2 because I'm too attached to the whole cast, but if there isn't one, this movie is a really nice way to conclude the story. I was smiling so hard during the ending scene.

Adachi Yumi is just too good… I fell in love with her acting in 3000 Man and she did amazing in this one too. I really need to check more of her work.

Nope!! Which is also one of the things I enjoyed about it! I hate when a trio with great dynamics gets ruined by romance...

This drama was such a pleasant surprise!! Dare I say, one of the best of the season??? I’m really going to miss our trio.

I really need to see Tomita Miu in more roles! Her acting was absolutely amazing in ep 2.

To be fair, Ryoki was an actor before debuting in BE:FIRST (who aren't idols anyway).

I wasn't that convinced after the first episode but this keeps getting better and better! Episode 4 was really emotional.
Nao's character is so endearing. She really knows how to play a character that makes you want to root for her. I also love her and Arikino's dynamics.

Surprisingly pretty fun! It's kinda silly but the cases can be interesting and the comedic timing is good too so I'm really enjoying it.

I went to the premiere yesterday and the movie was pretty good. I do wish it had been a bit less about the romance and more about Yoshiki’s recovery but the setting was beautiful and the soundtrack too. Ryoki’s acting surpassed my expectations, especially during the emotional scenes. I really didn’t expect to cry ten minutes into the movie. 😂
I loved the scenes where he was repeatedly cleaning things and when they showed his routine when getting home. The way it was filmed made it so raw and you could really feel his distress. Overall I quite enjoyed it!

I didn't mean that there's no SA. (Although I'm surprised about "tons of it", we're probably not watching the same dramas. That's my mistake, then.) I meant that it doesn't usually happen between the leads and is just brushed off five seconds later like nothing happened and we're not expected to keep watching and root for them to end up together after it happened. That's what I meant. You can show SA in dramas. My issue is when it's not treated like SA but just like a small thing that happened to get the plot going and the character who did the assault doesn't end up suffering repercussions.

I literally stopped watching right after that scene. I feel like most writers wouldn't dare have a scene like this between a man and a woman (at least, not in the recent years) so I don't know why they thought it would be okay between two women... It's like the typical BL but in GL form.

Haha you're so welcome, I'm glad it could help!! I'm going to be honest, I felt the exact same way at some point when I was watching the series because the writers did put too much focus on their relationship so I thought "they wouldn't dare, would they??" but I guess they were just trying to play with people's expectations. I loved what Ryo said in an earlier episode about friendships between men and women and there are SO many things about her character that I could relate to when watching so I'm really glad that they didn't go there in the end.
