Title Love for You Spoiler
ML beats FL in novel?
No problem!! But of course, you can always form your own opinion! It's just that personally, that's not the kind of person I want to see end up with the female lead. But a lot of people will tell you that his own father's abuse explains his violent nature as a kid, so it's up to you. I'm just not open-minded enough to go past that, I guess.

When they're children, yes!

Title Love for You
Funny how the leads get advertised as “childhood friends” everywhere when 1. they’re step-siblings and 2. even if they weren’t, I wouldn’t call someone who beats you and threatens to kill you as a kid your friend… Hopefully the drama will deviate from the novel in that aspect, or it will be unwatchable… Well, for me at least. Those who romanticize abuse will surely love it.

Title Never-Ending Summer Spoiler
I really don't understand why a light summer romance drama needs so many relatively explicit scenes of violence…
I'm glad I'm not the only one who found it hard to watch! The scene where Luo He pushes Zhou Wan to the ground and hits her was so unexpected, I was really taken aback. It felt almost out of place.

I started watching this for Kuroki Haru, but I have to say I'm REALLY impressed with Noro Kayo's performance in this drama! Her acting is so natural that I sometimes forget she's acting, and her emotional scenes managed to make me tear up a few times. She knows how to play a character that makes you want to root for her, which I love. I sincerely hope she'll start getting more main roles after this, because she's great.

Title Never-Ending Summer Spoiler
Glad im not the only one so bothered by that scene idk if i want to continue ahh
To be honest, if it starts being too focused on the ambiguity of their relationship, I'll have to stop watching, but I really wanted to see things get better for the female lead and her grandma and also see her get her well-deserved happy ending... 😭

Title Never-Ending Summer Spoiler
Forced kissing in 2026??? Oh that's just embarrassing. No idea why they added the fireworks in the background, because it was NOT romantic at all. Also, doing that right after asking her if she wanted to be his little sister was definitely... a choice.

I know the theme of the drama is important and deserves to be talked about, but I feel like the characters are way too comfortable airing out their business… Like, there’s really no need to talk about your sex life with your coworkers or your girlfriend’s little brother.

With this cast, I don't even need to read the synopsis. I will definitely be watching!!

++ I don't really understand how anyone could enjoy the main leads’ romance when all he does is grab her by the neck and yell at her.

To me, the best relationship in the whole drama is the friendship between the female lead and the princess. All their scenes were so beautiful, and some of them even made me tear up. I couldn’t care for the “romance” at all. Also, I have to say Zhang Linghe’s acting is especially bad in this…

This was the best finale I've seen in a really long time!!! I was smiling the whole episode. Can't believe we have to say goodbye to all these characters now. (':

I'm enjoying it a lot! It's a good balance of emotional moments because it shows how people deal with the death…
Hello! Sorry, I watch it on TVer (which you can access from outside of Japan with a VPN, but there are no subs), and they have the first 4 episodes. I don't know if it's available anywhere else.

is this good ?
I'm enjoying it a lot! It's a good balance of emotional moments because it shows how people deal with the death of their loved ones and also more blunt storytelling, with a little bit of funeral logistics too. But if you're pretty sensitive about this topic, I don't think I would recommend it.

I don't know if that's what you meant, but a lot of jdramas have a very homey, heartwarming feel! By the way, if you would like to get into jdramas, I just made this list with some recommendations: https://mydramalist.com/list/L60np684 👀
