Ngl this was a whole mess but the side characters carried??
๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ตโ๐ซI first watched the explanation of this drama and I really loved the storyโฅ๏ธ. Only now I got the chance to watch the actual series๐คง. Fr, I almost hit that drop button so fast during the first few episodes. The direction was doing the most with that over-the-top, cartoonish anime style, and the main coupleโs acting was pure, unfiltered cringe.
Look, I didnโt even hate the characters, I just hated how the directors forced them to act. The constant screaming, the unhinged eye-bulging, and the endless poop jokes were giving severe secondhand embarrassment. It felt so forced it was exhausting.

Even though it was painful at first, the actual plot was interesting enough to keep me locked in๐ญ๐๐ป๐๐ป. And honestly? As we got closer to the finale, the cringe actually settled down and it became totally bearable.
The supporting cast completely saved this show from being a total flop:

โโข ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ด๐ฎ๐ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: Massive shoutout to Won Seokโs storyline. The representation here was honestly so refreshing for a K-drama. Instead of treating his identity as a joke or a cheap plot device, the show handled his struggles, his coming-out journey, and his & Ho Dol's romance with so much respect, sincerity, and depth. It was easily one of the most compelling and heartwarming parts of the whole show.
Not just Won Seok's story, but also the way the gay misunderstandings between the main leads was handled. Seo Yeon wasn't the "eww you're gay๐คข?" type of girl. Even tho it was a misunderstanding, she wanted them to have a good life without any struggle due to their sexuality๐ญ.
โโข ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ๐: Every single secondary romance had effortless, organic chemistry. Their subplots were actually well-written and full of the genuine warmth that the main couple was lacking.

Like I said in the title: Watch this, if you have so many time to waste around. Or should I say, " watch this series, if you haven't found anything to analyze your mental ability๐ซก.I mean look at the first ep for. eg:- Phra-Aek tells Nomjued not to drop the camera. Then an incident occurs and we hear smth dropped, but if you look at Jued's hands;the camera is still in his hands. Aek comforts him and asks him if he's okay. Jued initially hesitates but admits that he dropped the camera. Then we saw the camera has dropped.
For God's Sake, they edits much worse than me๐ซค๐๐ป. And it is reflected throughout the series.
I've seen bad series but this is way worse than anything I've seen so far๐ซก.
Still not dropping it bc I have to watch I'm someone who follows the theory that if you want to criticize something, you must first finish watching it.
But for this one, I don't even have to watch it fully to review it๐ท
Edit: I finally dropped it for my mental sanity, forget about life theories๐ญ
