I don’t think YBJ was killed by Taera’s mother. His father was beat up by random prisonmates and YBJ was killed by someone that has nothing to do with the case. In the end he was hated by the society so he got killed just by walking outside.

I never said their fear was illegitimate or that the colonial period wasn’t that terrible. This is based on true events but it’s still fictional. They shouldn’t have made their language a point in the show if they cant be realistic about it.

I’ve watched 3 other colonial dramas me sunshine, gaksital and chicsgo typewriter. They could all do it.
