i love that when thai dramas make up names for fictional countries, they just take common western first names and slightly change the spelling (like "emmaly" in the next prince and "madelin" here)

that last episode dragged but at least it was a happy ending lol

i just finished episode 6 and came here to say the same thing lol

i'm enjoying this so far but the ost is so bad omg

casting was too perfect for me to give this anything below an 8/10 lol

they get together in episode 21, but he proposes to her and confesses his feelings even earlier. they get married in episode 28.

i really don't think the last few episodes are as bad as these reviews make them out to be...

chemistry is sooo good here. underrated imo

you're so right, and my heart breaks for lada's mom who is now the caretaker for that horrible man (who literally beat her!).

but how is having to be a caretaker for the man who beat her up and blackmailed her into staying as a mistress a good ending for lada's mom? how is that karma?

finished and wow that finale would've been so good if they ended it at the one hour mark. too bad it was ruined

i'm on episode 7 and i'm really struggling to finish this. i fear that like all GLs with horrible, unforgiveable parents, lada's dad--a misogynist wife-beater who only treats his daughter with contempt--is going to get a redemption arc. it's like these creators think a happy ending means an abusive parent having some bs epiphany and magically becoming decent and i think that's gross. personally, i want to see this resolved by lada and her mom leaving that family entirely.

ml does have a fiance, but he doesn't even like her and the engagement is broken off around episode 13. i haven't finished the series yet tho
