tbh everyone made illogical decisions this season lol

several reasons: for one, it's a callback to jeong jinman saying "listen up, jeong jian" to her, and serves to show how the relationship between them has changed-- jian has matured and taken the lead. secondly, it adds ambiguity-- it keeps the audience thinking about what comes next. this leads to the final (and perhaps most significant) reason for the ending: to leave room for a third season

that being said, with all of china's censorship laws, it's amazing they can produce any bl/gl at all. so i'm happy with whatever we can get lol

some does exist but unfortunately it's on a much smaller scale. nothing on the same level as deep in or other productions like revenged love

i'm on episode 7 and i like that ye li is scared of monkeys. i feel like characters in c-dramas always have trauma-based phobias of either the dark, fire, or thunder and it's kind of boring to see the same fears play out over and over again. but i've never seen a character afraid of monkeys before!

one lead is a toxic jerk and the other is a helpless doormat. also the second couple is so much better lmao. dropped

i love that when thai dramas make up names for fictional countries, they just take common western first names and slightly change the spelling (like "emmaly" in the next prince and "madelin" here)

that last episode dragged but at least it was a happy ending lol

i just finished episode 6 and came here to say the same thing lol

i'm enjoying this so far but the ost is so bad omg

casting was too perfect for me to give this anything below an 8/10 lol

they get together in episode 21, but he proposes to her and confesses his feelings even earlier. they get married in episode 28.

i really don't think the last few episodes are as bad as these reviews make them out to be...

chemistry is sooo good here. underrated imo
