honestly, i hate how some people are misunderstanding yi chen. Because of his mum’s constant guilt trip and his attachment to his family, he really had no choice but to follow his mum’s dreams and making sure that his brother wouldn’t have to go through what he had to. lu Feng really wanted to be chosen by Yi Chen but it still doesn’t justify his actions. The tension in ep 8, how they were now strangers really broke me. I was so attached to the previous eps that watching the specific scene really makes me crash out
