its kinda fascinating how bad it is yet its the sorta junkfood i can't help but keep watching to see how it turns out overall. i mean i've watched and dropped better shows that i thought were bad but this is sorta a so bad its good type of bad .

i have to agree both that it was the best scene in the ep and that i don't trust him , specially since it seemed he went from chasing 1 person to thew next n next it seemed like.

same ,.. i mean its not good but i'm enjoying it anyway

it definately felt like a scene was either missing or it was a bad translation cause all we got was a phone call saying he would meet them at a hotel not that there was a week gap er whatever between that n the cafe ,.. it was pretty weird , like i can understand the hotel being a tigger due to the past that was mentioned previously but the greater context was totally missing

the choice for the counter was 1 thing but the bathtub n shirt were just something else! lol

how far in are you? i got 2 eps in so far and i'm not exactly feeling it myself

not gonna lie i did not think todays ep was gonna open that way! lol i sorta expected to have had it left in the back of the mind burner , still it made some nice progression instead . interesting epo overall even if a tad infuriating in the latter parts, but man.. i wish the script was better this thing is all over the place ...still its ok to enjoy bad things here n there

man its dramas like this that just cement in my brain that its Fine , its ok to like bad stuff cause man ... the script and everything on this are really bad and all over the place in this 1 but also ... kinda dig it anyway , the emotions the actors portray really are well done its just a shame this is what they have to work with.

this!^ .. i hate to say it but most of the thai BL dramas i've watched are pretty sloppy and kinda mid .. still enjoyable but not of a high quality imo . its like a running theme for them to just have something off the writing in them that i've not noticed as much elsewhere. this one in particular has some rough subs on top of it all but hey ... eye candy so -shrugs-

i will say that despite all that i do generally find them enjoyable and this one is no exception

- why did I An’s father hate him?
i don't think he hated him so much as felt he had to 'put him in his place' since his brother was ment to be next to rule not him

- what was his brothe, crown prince's problem? Did he have depression or other mental health issues?
i got the impressions he was overwhelmed by what was expected of him, hence the not having a weak will or whatever it was that was said by his queen.

- who set those fires?
whoever the queen mother's father paid i believe? for the firs , no idea with the 2nd , and the 3rd we see who it was pinned on.

- if the Prime Minister like her so much, why didn't he ever make his move?
it definately seemed like he was intending to , like in that earlier dinner at the hotel , she just never felt that way about him from the mannerisms that were shown.

- who was responsible for rigging Hui Ju’s car?
- and who killed the mechanic who did it?
good question oin both of those

not just that its also a show of what desire/greed can do to a person . him leaving his rosary on his father's grave was a good symbolic representation of it , he knew he turned and it showed

they keep doing that i've noticed , 1st was goblin now this i think i seen 1 or 2 in between , idk why they have to keep changing them!

have you watched the anime? i just finished it and was wondering how the manga compares

this show had a good premise and the actors were fine together but man its such a rush job that i felt zero attachment to any of the characters ,.. i honestly don't know what ppl see in this one which is a shame. if the eps were better fleshed out n stuff was paced sensibly i think it could have been good but as it stands ,...4/10

i don't hate this but at the same time everything feels a bit disjointed and rushed ,... ~20min eps and already being half aired doesn't help things ,.. a shame since there could've been something here but i feel zero attachment to these characters from what i've seen

been waiting over a decade for him to be a lead instead so heres to hoping it turns out good! he always has great acting.

finally finished this one after it'd been on the ole watchlist backlog for over a decade ,.. i definitely liked aspects of this season better than the first , tho it was alot slower paced and padded out than i think it needed to be with all the side characters , tho at the same time i think it helped things in the end

i really liked the characters themselves in this one and the plot was fine tho it should've been shorter than it was and have less flashbacks,.. i wasn't as fond of the acting and chemistry tho , the FL felt too stiff for my taste but it is what it is when actors are new i guess ( pretty sure i'd seen they had been at the time) ,.. overall i think it was my least favorite hana yori dango adaptation tho its been over a decade since i watched others

yeah thats the sad part honestly.. i took a break from asian dramas for a handful of years since my partner doesn't do sub ( slow reader) n i had mostly just been watching stuff with him , i came back in the last couple years and alot of the newer shows i've tried just don't hit the way they used to . i was never Just into kdramas but i always thought the acting in them to be on a higher teir than the taiwanese dramas that always seemed a tad more heated but a bit more cheesy( i say this lovingly) by comparison.. something definately changed in the between years

just finished it , it might be my least favorite adaptation of hana yori dango honestly ,.. it should've been at least 10eps shorter and thats speaking nothing of the stiff acting which i can forgive since it looks like they were new at the time
