Thanks for this lovely article...I see I am not the only one who missed Gong Yoo in this list however I totally agree with every other choice.

Thanks so much for your friend request. You have watched many dramas that I haven't watched yet so I will certainly take hints from your list if it's OK for you.

Title The Suspect
I could finally watch this long awaited movie and was not disappointed. Gong Yoo's acting was top notch here and he definitely proved that he is very well suited to action roles. I could not rate it higher than 8 because I thought much more emphasis was given to action and the car chasing scenes (which were brilliant I admit) rather than to interaction between people. The plot was good but not particularly original.

Hi, I finally went to check where Brasov is on Google Maps and I realized it is in Romania. I wonder how come it is colder than Italy as it is almost at the same latitude? Yes I started East of Eden two days ago and I am watching the very first episodes where the leads are still children and so far it looks very good. This weekend we will start organizing for packing suitcases as my husband and son will be visiting my daughter in Tokyo next week and I will be going away to Tuscany. Have a nice weekend.

It is great that you decided to watch Giant as you won't regret it. Yes it is quite long but you won't realize it as you will be really involved in the story. Happy drama watching.

Hi Edinaa,
no probs as we are all busy after all. I understand what you mean about having space in the PC which is why I have a separate HD where I keep my favourite dramas and the ones that I don't want to keep I just bin them. I am fine thanks and I hope the same for you. I am sorry to hear you are not having good weather as we are in full spring here in Italy with temperatures of 24°C. I hope it lasts. Have a nice day and take care.

Title Giant
This is the first 60 episode drama that I finished and I was amazed at how quickly I got through it all. This was due mainly to the fact that it was an extremely well written and fantastically acted drama. In the past I have had negative experiences with long Korean family sagas because of all the exaggerated makjang and crying whereas in this drama every aspect was well balanced and made sense and kept the viewer always wanting to know more about how the story progressed. I knew many of the actors in this from previous dramas and I can honestly say this was their top performance so far. I discovered that this drama won many awards in 2010 and my personal award is to rate it a full 10. It is a drama I will not easily forget so I heartly recommend it.

Hi Edinaa, yes I started Hotel King and Angel Eyes and they both look quite good. Angel Eyes had a sad start and it looks like a good story and also Hotel King seems enjoyable. Will you be watching any currently airing dramas? Have a good week.

Triangle...Giant?
Yes it is indeed very focused on business and revenge so we will see if this is different. The similar part is the one about three brothers/sisters reuniting after a long time and also one of the main leads was in Giant too.

Hi Edinaa, I am glad to hear that you are enjoying your ice-skating and I am sure you will be less tired as you keep on practicing. I am watching many dramas right now. Most of them are currently airing dramas in Korea like Empress Ki, God's Gift, Secret Love Affair, Three Days and Bride of the Century. But I am also enjoying Giant which I will finish soon and Queen Seon Duk. I hope you have a nice Sunday too.

Triangle...Giant?
I thought so too as I am watching Giant at the moment and the plot sounds so similar with the same lead actor too!

Hi Edinaa, I am glad you enjoyed some of the dramas that you are watching. I will go and check where your town is on Google Earth. I have been enjoying some relaxing days where I have free time in the afternoons/evenings to watch my dramas. I just finished Inspiring Generation which I rated 8 as it was a good drama overall although it could have been better with the good actors that were starring in it. I hope you have a nice Sunday. Take care.

This drama had an amazing potential that wasn't exploited as it should have been. Everything starting from the cast, setting, filming, costumes and OST was perfect except for the plot which was far too focused on fighting scenes (especially on the first 10/12 episodes) rather than on the dinamics between the Chinese, Japanese and Koreans. The plot became definitely more intriguing towards the end which goes to show how the whole story could have been written much better. I really enjoyed the acting of many male actors here whom I hope to see in other dramas soon. In any case this was a really sad period of the Korean history is and this drama depicted it well enough to totally deserve a full 8 from me.

Hi Edinaa, yes I saw that you rated King's Daughter 10 and I will try to watch it soon too. Glass Mask sounds nice and I will go and check what it is about. I am fine and I hope the same for you. In Milan we can feel spring coming and we are having lovely and sunny days. How is it in your town?

Hi Edinaa, I am glad you enjoyed your ice-skating and also watching King's Daughter. Italia's got Talent finished in December so at the moment we are having a break. Yes I am watching Inspiring Generation and Three Days. The first will finish this week in Korea and I have to say that it had great potential of being a wonderful drama as lots of effort was put in filming, costumes, OST ect. but the story is a little bit slow and there are too many fighting scenes. For what concerns Three Days it is great and it is very similar to American action series. I am fine thanks have a good week.

Hi Chrisstina, I really liked this 22nd episode as I thought the strategy that Jung Tae used to defeat the Japanese was really clever and now I hope he manages to defeat the Chinese too. This is why I am so interested now to know more about Korean history. In any case as far as the love story goes, I can say that this drama is really not so based on romance (but mostly on fighting...there was far too many fighting scenes for my liking) which is why I can't see any feelings between Jung Tae and Ok Ryeon, and also the feelings between Jung Tae and Gaya were not so clear. I now hope for a happy ending of course as I was very sad that Shinichi died and that Jae Hwa had to go away.
