Hi Edinaa, I am better thanks although my rib last night was hurting a little. I am glad you managed to get your PC fixed and I hope you will be able to start watching some new dramas soon. How are you? Take care.
I really enjoyed this refreshing rom-com. OK I admit the script was nothing particularly original but each episode always put a smile on my face and this is what I look for mostly when I watch dramas. Both the main leads had a lot of chemistry together and I liked the way they portrayed their situation of divorcees. All in all a pleasant break from heavy going thriller action dramas which seem to be quite the trend this year. It's a full deserved 8 for me.

Hi, out of this list I really enjoyed Empress Ki and Nine: Nine Times travel. I didn't watch any of the others besides East of Eden which I am watching at the moment (I am at episode 14/56). Happy drama watching! ;)

Hi Edinaa, no I'm not crying, what I meant is that the characters in the drama East of Eden cry and shout a lot as there is a lot of makjang in the story. I am finding it very dramatic but the actors are good so I will certainly carry on watching it hoping that the story will become a little less tragic. I will be interested to know what drama you will be starting. Take care.
This was a very interesting article, thanks for writing it. As far as it goes for me I don't like any villain in any drama, whether they are interesting, boring, clever or original. They always make me feel very bad although I admit that in many cases they are necessary. Personally I enjoy more the dramas in which there is no definite villain in the story.
I'll start with saying that this was a very well made and acted drama. I was going to rate it 8 because overall I was convinced of its high class quality even though I didn't enjoy the plot at all (this has taught me to keep well away from thriller dramas and most of all those involving children). What made me lower my rating was the incomprehensible ending...what on Earth happened there? I was kept with this cliffhanger for 16 episodes and in the end I couldn't understand what exactly happened to everyone in the story? In any case I hope to see Cho Seung Woo in future dramas soon as he is a really charming actor. All the other actors were great too and especially the little girl.
I am watching this drama too and I agree with your review however I am finding the development of the story a…
Thanks for replying as I wanted to explain that when I meant that I preferred the story to be faster I didn't mean it had to be with action (fighting, running etc.). I was referring to the fact that events in the story develop really slowly and there are many empty moments of the lead characters staring in emptiness. Also the dialogues are quite slow IMO. However I still like the drama and I am going to watch it until the end.

Hi Edinaa, I thought God's Gift was very well made but I didn't enjoy the plot too much as I realised that I don't like thrillers too much (in particular those which involve children). East of Eden so far has a little too much makjang in it and people are crying and shouting all the time but the story is not bad and I am hoping it will improve as I am only at the beginning. I hope you have a nice day. Take care.
I am watching this drama too and I agree with your review however I am finding the development of the story a little bit slow and wished events would move faster. The music parts are truly beautiful and I wish less space was given to the internal power struggles of the music school. In any case I am curious to see how the second half of the story will develop. The actors are all doing a very good job here.

Hi Edinaa, you made the right choice to rest a bit. At the moment many of the current dramas that I am watching are not being aired because of the ferry accident in Korea. My favourite one at the moment is Angel Eyes which only started a few weeks ago but I find the story very poetic and delicate. Take care.

Hi Edinaa, yes thanks I am feeling much better. My rib still hurts a little now and then but it has improved a lot. I hope you enjoy your film and anime. I think it is impressive that you enjoy all these kind of shows...my daughter and son have tried to convince me many times to start watching anime too but probably because I am of a different generation I just can't seem to enjoy them, however I can see that they are a good product. Have a nice day. Hugs to you too.

Hi Edinaa, thanks for your Easter wishes. I hope you have a Happy Easter too. I am taking good care of myself by mostly resting and doing a few things in the house as well as watching many dramas. I hope you are having a nice weekend. Take care.
I enjoyed this special about this historical warrior figure. Takuya Kimura is as always very good here also in the very impressive sword fighting scenes. I also enjoyed the presence of Shota Matsuda and Maki Yoko whose acting was superb. All in all an interesting short historical drama for those like myself who had missed watching Jdramas for a while.

Hi Edinaa, thanks for asking. Luckily I didn't break my rib but it hurts because it was hit during the fall. I am taking some mild painkillers which my doctor prescribed after visiting me. I am already feeling a little bit better and I am thankful to dramas which are keeping me good company as I am home alone. Take care.

Hi Edinaa, I didn't go with them because I have fear of flying and in particular for such a long flight (which is of over 11 hours). My daughter is fine thanks and enjoying her stay in Tokyo. My husband and son will be back on the 24th. Unfortunately I had to cancel my holiday as I fell and hurt my ribs last night so I will be recovering at home. I hope everything is well with you.
The story of this drama was original and interesting for me only during the first half. In the second half it somehow lost its charm and the love story became quite predictable. I somehow couldn't get totally involved in the mystery theme and thought that they waited far too long to explain the whole issue making it seem like a side story added at the end. Infact the last two episodes dragged a little IMO. Jeremy's acting (I know this is not his real name but for me he will always be Jeremy) has improved but can get better and the female actress did a good job in portraying two different personalities. All in all it was a good watch but I can't rate it more than 7.
This is an amazing drama which I enjoyed from the first minute to the last. It showed me yet again the great acting…
Hi Dreaming, I wish I could be of help but as you can see I saw this last October and I really can't remember how it ended so I should go and see the last part again. However if I rated it 10 then the ending certainly made sense for me. I hope someone else here with a better memory than mine can give you an explanation.

Hi Edinaa, I see why you have colder temperatures. Yes I live in a small town outside Milan but I will be going away for a short holiday in Tuscany whilst my husband and son will be in Tokyo. They will be there for a week. I hope it all goes well for them. I also hope you will have a good week. Take care.
Very interesting article, now there is Secret Love Affair where I imagine the age difference between the two leads to be quite considerable. I personally don't mind dramas with big age gaps between the leads as long as they are good stories.
