Hi Edinaa, what a lovely description of your relationship with your boyfriend. It sounds like you were really lucky to meet such a great person who managed to enrich your life a lot and I wish you a lot of happiness in the future. Unfortunately I wasn't as lucky as you, so it is wise to make the best of this wonderful moment of your life.
My drama watching is going on as usual, today I watched an episode of the Prime Minister drama and I started watching I Need Romance 3. Take care.

wow...what a great article!! I so enjoyed reading this and agreed with so many of your opinions. I am thrilled that two of my favourite 2013 dramas made it in your very top list and these are Cruel City and Nine and my other favourite which is Two Weeks was not far behind. I really need to watch Empire of Gold as I have read so much good about it. Thanks very much for this very enlightening summary of your best 2013 Korean dramas.

Hi Edinaa, I am fine thanks and I hope the same for you. Still missing my daughter a lot but I am sure I will gradually get used to my new life without her by my side. Did you manage to watch any drama episodes in the last few days? I still have a long way to go with Queen Seon Duk (I am only at episode 7) but I am enjoying the ride and I am also enjoying Queen of Reversals. Take care and have a nice day.

Hi Edinaa, she went to Tokyo because she really likes Japan and everything connected to it and also has a Japanese boyfriend. She is trying to find a job there so that she can stay there for good.
This afternoon I watched the film A Frozen Flower and was a little bit shocked by it but I enjoyed it all the same. I wanted to see something with the same actor who plays the king in Empress Ki and I had heard a lot about this movie, have you watched it too. The story is really beautiful but there are many very explicit bed scenes which is why it took me by surprise.

Hi Edinaa, the movie you watched sounds really good. Di Caprio is one of my favourite actors and I will keep an eye on this title and hope to watch it soon too.
I am fine thanks, only a little sad as my daughter left to go to Tokyo for 6 months/1 year minimum (and she hopes to be able to stay there for good)and I am missing her very much although I am happy for her. I hope you have a nice Sunday.

Hi Edinaa, I am so happy that you enjoyed Cruel City and that you rated it 10. It is good that we had similar tastes for this drama. I hope we will have similarly good dramas also in 2014.
Yes I do mostly watch my dramas in streaming now as our Internet connection is fast enough. For the moment I am only downloading Empress Ki and the Man from the Stars episodes which are dramas that I am planning to keep and rewatch in the future. Other dramas that I am watching on streaming are Queen Seun Dok and Queen of Reversals both of which I am enjoying. I hope your job is not too tiring for you. Have a nice weekend. Take care.

I have watched two dramas of your underrated list which are Sword and Flower and Soratobu Kouhoushitsu and I agree that they deserved better ratings and reviews as they were both lovely to watch (I rated them respectively 9 and 8). I agree that many of these dramas do not get the attention they deserve mostly for the plots or the non eye candy actors. I plan to watch Empire of Gold very soon as I am intrigued by how good it sounds.

Hi Edinaa, I am so happy that the site worked and you could watch more episodes of Cruel City on your streaming site. Lately I am watching more dramas via streaming sites rather than downloading them as I decided to only download those that I want to keep for good on my separate Hard Disk.
So far I have watched 3 episodes of Queen of Reversals and it's not too bad. As the drama is quite long (31 episodes) I am curious to see how the plot will unfold as I don't have a clear idea until now.
Yes I did watch Engine and rated it 7. It's not a bad story but IMO it's not one of the best dramas of Kimutaku. The children in this drama are really cute and act very well. O hope you have a good week too. Take care.

Thanks for this very useful article. I plan to watch Tamaki Hiroshi's and Miura Haruma's dramas for sure. Wow, the Japanese do certainly enjoy detective dramas as there are so many out there every season. :)

Hi Edinaa, I am sorry that the site you found didn't work for you. Have you tried watching them on Gooddrama? This is the site I prefer as it has no ads and it works well for me. I hope you manage to watch the remainder of the drama as the story is very intriguing. I have started watching Queen Seon Duk and I am at Ep. 3 so I have a really long way to go and this drama will certainly keep me company for a few months. Yesterday I was looking for a light rom-com which was recent and I found Queen of Reversals so I tried watching the first episode which wasn't too bad. Have you watched this and what did you think of it? I am fine and I hope the same for you. Have a good week. Take care.

Hi Edinaa, I am glad you started Cruel City. What you describe is exactly one of the good points of this drama as it is hard to understand (especially at the beginning) who is on the good side and who on the bad side...I thought the writers of this plot were very clever and when you reach the end you will understand why. I hope you enjoy it. Take care.

I enjoyed this lighthearted but interesting rom-com. I thought the setting was pretty original and the plot kept me interested until the very last episode. What I found a little disappointing was the romance aspect as it was only concentrated on the first half of the drama and was almost totally ignored in the second half with only little hints here and there. The acting of Kim Sun Ah was good as usual and I was happy also with Lee Dong Gun whom I hope to see in more dramas in the future. It's a 7 for me.

Good morning Edinaa, I am so glad I chose the right saeguk to watch and I am really looking forward to seeing what it is about. Also the Chaser (Kdrama) seems a good choice and I should be starting it this evening although I really wanted to see something with good romance but I can't seem to find anything at the moment. Take care and happy drama watching.

Thanks so much for this review. I watched all the three TV Channel Award Ceremonies and I totally agree with your comments here. It seems that only dramas with high ratings get the awards which doesn't always mean good quality and good acting. Even if I am a big fan of Empress Ki and I am glad it got so many awards, I still feel these awards would have been fairer if the whole drama had been broadcasted. I am really sorry that Two Weeks was almost totally ignored as it was a very good and high quality drama. I am looking forward to your reviews on the SBS (which was incredibly biased!!) and KBS awards. :)

Hi Edinaa, no you don't need an account to download from D-addicts, but I made one anyway as I sometimes write in the discussions on there. Thanks for your commend on C...Alice. In the end I changed my mind and started watching Queen Seon Duk instead as I read really positive reviews about it. It will be the longest drama that I ever watched (62 episodes!) if I manage to finish it but as I love saeguks it shouldn't be too hard for me. This evening I will finish When it's at Night and I might watch The Chaser next...I still need to decide. Have a nice Sunday.
