I agree with DBSK that the violence fits the plot of Inspiring Generation, however IMO there is really a tad too much of it in each episode. Hopefully they will just reduce the amount and detail of the violence shown in the story. Thanks for this article...I am looking forward to 14 days and Angel Eyes.

Fantastic article and I also enjoy much more dramas with strong female leads. Out of the ones you mentioned I have seen Coffee Prince, City Hunter and I Hear Your Voice. Ha Ji Won is also usually a very strong female lead as for example in Secret Garden and King2Hearts and now also in Empress Ki.

Hi Edinaa,I agree that our tastes in drama can change according to our moods. Yes the plot of A Tree with Deep Roots is a little complicated but I found it fascinating because it dealt with the origins of the Korean alphabet. I haven't seen any of the dramas on your list so I will be looking forward to hearing your opinion about them. At the moment I am watching many on air dramas but also Queen Seon Duk and Empire of Gold. I am fine thanks and I hope the same for you. Have a good week.

Hi Edinaa I'm glad you enjoyed the Prime Minister drama and this shows that everyone is different with tastes as for m it was not worth more than a 7. So you had seen A Tree with Deep Roots before? This is good. I'm fine thanks and the weekend has been going smoothly so far. Take care and have a good week.

Hi Edinaa, I'm glad to hear that you will start watching a Tree with Deep Roots which is a great drama. I didn't watch the opening ceremony of the Olympic winter games as I rarely watch sports on TV however I will keep an eye on the different disciplines and most of all I will see how all the countries are doing as far as winning medals goes. I have never watched Lobbyst and I will go and check what it is about. Man from the Stars is a great drama and one of the best of the current Korean season in my opinion. Last night I started watching Golden Empire as I read lots of good reviews about it and I hope I like it. I don't have many plans for the weekend as it is usually quiet for me. Take care and have a nice weekend.

On I Need Romance Season 2 Feb 6, 2014
This drama was pleasant and interesting to watch. What I appreciated most in all the I Need Romance dramas is the fresh and realistic way in which relationships are portrayed which is not very common in Kdramas. It is obvious the writers were inspired by Sex and the City however they managed to make the story original and different in its own way and not just a copy of the American series. In the main love story here there is a lot of pushing and pulling which sometimes became a little tiring. Nevertheless it represented the perfect image of what can happen in real life. Lee Jin Wook's character is quite hateful for most of the drama, however his looks made up for it pretty well.

Hi Edinaa, yes I finished the Prime Minister drama today and I rated it 7 as I thought it was OK but nothing special. A Tree with Deep Roots is a really good saeguk and I enjoyed it very much, so I highly recommend it. My favourite airing dramas at the moment are the Man who came from the stars and Empress Ki. Have a nice day tomorrow. Take care.

On Prime Minister and I Feb 6, 2014
I somehow lost interest in this drama when I was about halfway through it but I decided to carry on until the end anyway. The story was pleasant but nothing spectacular and I actually believe that Lee Bum Soo was kind of wasted here as his acting talent was exploited much better in History of a Salaryman. This can't get more than a 7 from me.

I really like this actor so I thank you for this comprehensive guide. I could only appreciate his acting in Rich Man Poor Woman and Mitsu no Aji but I will make sure I recover some of his other works mentioned here.

Hi Edinaa,
usually these tours are very tiring but afterwards many good memories are left of the places that you visited. I did two bus tours (lasting one week each) in the centre of Europe and I got really tired by the end but I was always very satisfied with everything that I saw.
No I don't know Beethoven Virus and I will wait to hear your opinion about it. I finished Lovers in Paris and I thought that only the first half of the drama was really good whereas the second half dragged a little bit. This evening I should be starting I Need Romance 2. I am also watching and enjoying many of the currenly airing dramas. I will keep in mind your suggestion about the movie that you watched. Take care and have a nice weekend.

Thanks for this very interesting article. I will keep these shows in mind if I come across a drama burnout. I happened to watch one episode of Running Man (the one with Gong Yoo) and I really enjoyed it. I must make time to watch more of this show.

On Lovers in Paris Jan 29, 2014
This drama started out in a really romantic and promising way both for the plot and for the setting in Paris. However as the story progressed it somehow lost its charm and it all started dragging until the end. I was expecting a little more from the plot and hoped the story would have developed more in in Paris. However, notwithstanding the typical clichès found in most Korean dramas I enjoyed the romance on the whole and the acting of both the male leads was really good (I didn't like the female lead too much). Good as a 'vintage feeling' drama.
