The storyline is more complex than described in both the romantic aspects and business side. It’s worth a repeat watch. Cost engineering became interesting. The cast and crew were clearly experienced professionals that enhanced the story. The female lead’s battles in a male dominated real estate and construction business was the core of the drama. I wanted to see more of her best friend’s happier times and less of the clingy rich girl pathetically struggling to wedge herself into the main couple’s relationship. I wanted to see less of the teeth of the uncle, Huang Lilin, whose teeth look like he brushed with chocolate cake twice a day! 9/10
The drama was entertaining through the first half because it centered around the child. His acting was great. The others were basically side characters with bland and highly predictable subplots especially in the last half. The hidden secrets and recovered memories came back in the end but they were too little, too obvious and too late to uplift this tired drama. 7.5/10
I love the relationship between the lead characters and with their sidekicks. Their parts were well covered by very talented actors. The romance building was steady and clear that only the leads should be with each other. The love rivals lost before it began. The story got stale near the end when the sub plots wrapped up with too many cliches in the ending. But, I liked the irony of the dynasty family members looking down on the common less prestigious families when they were hiding enough dirt to create three or four spin-off trash dramas! 8/10
I admit there are alot of cute moments between the couples and the story was interesting. But it got boring after…
There are too many slow motion blurry edged scenes with couples facing each other from a distant. They feel romantic in the early episodes. It gets stale in the middle. That’s when I started skipping scenes.
This dark movie feel of this drama makes me realize my life is sunshine and lemonade springs! It’s like I should stop complaining, stop comparing to others doing better and be grateful my life is not worse. So, I’m looking forward to the following episodes.
Clearly, the beginning and middle draw you into the drama. That’s the best of this drama. The last 8 to 10 episodes were boring. There was too much focus on head chef and his romance issues that amounted to nothing. The ending should have been better in unraveling a mystery that was so obvious that they didn’t need to drag it out with all that misery. Barely an 8/10.
It’s worth watching once even though the theme is the standard CEO and struggling girl drama. I skipped a few of the love triangle side characters and their scenes. I didn’t get bored because i knew what to expect. It’s no worse than others. 8/10
The is a cute modern drama with happy endings for many and that’s unusual in a Chinese drama. The chemistry between the leads is very good. The storyline is the typical rich CEO falling for the hard working common girl. It’s a fated to love you story that’s entertaining to watch to the end with a little skipping because of the length and sone cringe. 8/10

It’s a lot more interesting than I expected. I usually avoid ghost stories, but, these are worth watching. There is even humor in a few areas and I’m not sure it was intended. But, it lightens up some of the dark mood.
I dropped it after episode 2. I watched it the day it aired for the leads. Then, put it aside. I was put off by their exaggerated acting and the silly storyline. It would be more acceptable if they tried for a comedy. I just can’t take these characters seriously as doctors or military personnel.
Wait! This came out of nowhere and I couldn’t be happier! This is a light breath of fresh air compared to the recent modern romantic dramas. Steven Zhang is a born comedian! He and Liang Jie look like close friends who decided to make a drama together and give it their best effort because the chemistry is enviable. I have seen only 7 episodes and already regretting it will end.
Why do people rate a drama so early? I always wait until i finished the drama to rate it.
I usually wait until about 20 percent of the viewers give their drama ratings before I pay attention. This gives me a feel of how the drama is doing before it ends. Bad endings can kill the ratings of a good drama. The drama Princess Agents is a good example, a great drama until the very last episode where it collapsed.
Hao Du is like the love child of Shin Se Gi and The Terminator! He commands attention, then, steals your heart.
