This is one of those moments where suspension of disbelief must be deployed. This is the same show that a general…
I disagree. They couldn't start any fire - it will give away their position and also be signs of life. The falcons would be able to track them better this way. Also, they are on the move to a certain location - making fire and finding food is more in line if they were stuck in a place and needed help but they are actually being tracked by assassins sent by CP so their only play is to move - constantly moving. They barely stop to rest and that tells you they can't spare a moment to find food. Then you may say, well FL can go find food. You noticed she never once left his side because they know ML would be unprotected if the assassins showed up. She was the only person to protect him. Furthermore, he wasn't anticipating to be starving for too long. His sidekick seems to be able to track them and he finds them soon enough. This is a long play that ML is engaging - pretending to be dead while trying to survive CP's assassins hot on their heels.
Once again AvenueX confirming why I no longer watch her reviews. The most downer of a reviewer when it comes to…
I totally agree with you. I only had watched some of her reviews on certain dramas but that was it. I see her highlights and I know her critique is not at all impartial. She seems to have a liking to certain actors/actresses so if it's those dramas, she reviews them very well. I don't give her any of my time anymore just because I roll my eyes too much.
Yes he wanted her to attempt killing him and make his father question the massacre and his responsibility as a…
I understand that he wasn't the Crown Prince yet when the massacre happened. ML was the favoured son and he was the one who went to battle to win victories. He was going to be returning home as victorious but then the massacre happened and it tainted his entire image. And if watching C dramas enough, even when a Crown Prince secures their title, it doesn't stop them from plotting away to power. Nothing is guaranteed. It does make it harder to topple him.
So he’s trying to do what exactly? Bring truth to light who actually committed the act by being both mastermind…
He needs proof. He knows who did it but to bring him down, he needs to do it step by step. So right now, his first goal is to plant a seed of distrust in his father.
The best scene for ep 34 for me is the interrogation. As dangerous as it was and with Jiang Ci still hating Wei…
I absolutely love this scene. It shows how well they work together even with little to no advance warning to play along. We saw it earlier when they were still 'enemies' and JC would just casually play into the scene (think the falling into the water). I love it the most for seeing WZ doing what he can to save/protect JC while treading an extremely dangerous line. It's nice to see JC get some control back after being like a puppet, pushed here and there and she had little to no say of what to do in her circumstances.
I am blown away by Jeremy Tsui's acting talent. Please recommend me the best dramas he is featured in. I need…
He really shined in his character in Queen of Dugu as rather complicated and largely antagonist. But for me, I liked him in Autumn Ballad - amazing chemistry with his female co-star. I think this is one of his last few dramas he filmed as he has announced his retirement from acting.
Li Fei needs to take a bigger project, i wonder why he didn’t get one yet.
The only bigger project than these mini series he's been in is Royal Rumors - full length drama with Jeremy Tsui. Problem with that drama, his tragic character arcs in these mini series followed him to the full length drama there.
The only reason I have stuck to this series. Him. It's amazing how the styling can age him so well and then you…
Me too! I didn't like the ones where his hair is up in a bun. Then in Love You Seven Times, he finally had his hair down and paired with his bright and light color costumes, it was perfect.
I’m just here to appreciate DYX’s beauty. He has a lot of charisma on this series
The only reason I have stuck to this series. Him. It's amazing how the styling can age him so well and then you look at him in the cast game episode and he's just young and playful - not a serious look on him.
I love how CXZ offers the alternative to him not being able to abandon his title and duties for LMT by proposing a form of long distance relationship (absolutely unheard of in c-drama). I love how he had his pouting face when LMT said "no" and he slowly takes back what he just handed her, slowly turns and leaves without saying a word. I love his shameless chase after LMT but not to the put where he gives up everything. He had his line he wouldn't cross and just that, he deserves respect.
Furthermore, he wasn't anticipating to be starving for too long. His sidekick seems to be able to track them and he finds them soon enough. This is a long play that ML is engaging - pretending to be dead while trying to survive CP's assassins hot on their heels.
