When YuHao followed CY he tried to dig anything on CY's family. That's then he told QL about Uncle Xu shady business.
After that when Uncle Xu speak with QL we know that he pulled some strings for CY's acceptance to hunting school.
And in thins ep. Sis Jialin explains to QL the whole situation (but we see only the endind of their conversation). At the end she says that there's no one no more to make preferences for CY. right after that conversation QL goes to detention center.

Ep. 9, around 11:50 timestamp. QL says that he doen't like stalkers. I've read that in Chinese words "stalker" and "bastard (illegitimate child)" are similar and that is the reason CY was so sulky. Is it true?

On the other hand, CY said that last video from QT's phone cannot be restored. IMHO, it's a lie and CY doesn't want anybody to know how exactly QT died, cause it can be very traumatizing.

Earlier when QL and CY talk in the kitchen, QL says that he prefers a white lie than bitter truth. So CY knows that some things should keep in secret.

In the version I saw QL asks "Are you writing a novel?". But later I stumbled upon a reel where tose words were translated as "are you writing your last words?"
So pretty please tell me which translation is more accurate?

I think LQ didn't doubt XF's feelings, that's why it surprised him (to say at least) when XF called whole family to their apartment and when XF told uncle Bei that he wants to go abroad.
When you see your own kids very day you don't notice how fast they grow but for others it's obvious ))) The same way with XF, for LQ to notice his growth they must spend some time apart, LQ must aknowledge that his little duckling became a gorgeous swan and stop to belittle him
