I first watched Summer Rose, which has the same male lead, and after that I was looking for drama recommendations when someone suggested this one to me. This drama had already appeared in my recommendations before, but I didn’t watch it right away because I thought it was just another typical chinese drama with a "domineering ceo" plot like because of the english title haha. But it turned out to be really good. This is one of the best vertical dramas I’ve watched, and it is now my favorite vertical drama. The story is well written, with no unnecessary misunderstandings, and the plot is very engaging. The script is also excellent plus the lines are beautiful and meaningful. The acting and cinematography made it even better, and the male lead is such a green flag. I want a man like him in real life too 😭 very supportive, caring, and not toxic at all. Their relationship development felt natural and so satisfying to watch. My only issue is the english title because it is a bit misleading and doesn’t really represent how good the actual story is.
Hi. !!! the older sister here. One I really liked is Ceo Arange Bride! its on IqiyiI like more of the obessive…
Thank you, jiejie, for recommending this!! I just finished it and I really enjoyed it! It’s one of my favorite vertical dramas now. Everything was so good! 🫶
ngl, i hesitated to watch this at first even though ysx is the lead. i don't like siblings-to-lovers tropes, so i kept myself from watching it. but because i followed many ysx fan accs, clips kept appearing on my timeline and it was impossible to ignore. i eventually gave in and completely ate my words. their chemistry is insane! this is actually the first time ive read the original novel of a drama im currently watching because i couldn’t stand not knowing what happens next. ive already finished it, and now i can't seriously wait for the next episodes.
ps. jin zhao is so fineeee! i can't handle his hotness🥵
Ever since I discovered this movie, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched this. It’s painful but healing. Definitely one of my favorites. It’s not like other movies where if someone is sick, they just die. This one gives hope that even with a serious illness, a happy ending is still possible.
are there two versions of this? why are the ones on kisskh, iQIYI different? last night, I started watching it on kisskh using my phone, and today I continued on my laptop using iQIYI. I’m only on episode 2, but I noticed that the story flow is different. In the kisskh version, it starts with ranran having no memories, she was just reborn and is already in the mortal world. But when I opened the one on iQIYI, the beginning was different — it started with yushui instead.
Just finished watching and now I’m lowkey mad at myself for not watching it sooner 😭 I really should’ve watched this earlier. I honestly didn’t expect it to hit me like that. It’s emotional, but in a way that feels light. It makes you cry, but the kind of tears that actually make your chest feel softer and lighter after. The story is painful yet comforting—like it understands the parts of you that you don’t really talk about. I really hope it gets a Filipino dubbed version soon. I’d love to watch it again with my mom.
Cute and feel-good drama. The chemistry between Esther Yu and Ding Yuxi really carries the show. It’s light, fun, and perfect if you’re in the mood for something sweet—even if the plot isn’t super deep.
The main leads had a great story and really strong chemistry. I just didn’t like how much screen time the second couple got. I even ended up skipping their parts. It would’ve been better if they had their own separate drama instead
