It's okay if Yoon Jae doesn't feel attracted to her while she looks like a dude and doesn't know what to do about that, but if he chose to stay together with her and didn't let her break up, then he needs to respect her because she's still his girlfriend. She told him she doesn't like Min Ju around him, but he doesn't set boundaries and simply let's her do whatever even though she literally told him she likes him. That's NOT okay, no matter the situation. And Ji Eun's apparence change has nothing to do with that. That's more than being "passive", that's plain disrespectful to his girlfriend.
