Right! I'm kind of glad when the show becomes more about Ji Eun/Ji Hun, and her/their issues with the curse rather…
Exactly. She deserves better. And yes, I like her relationship with literally anyone else better than the main romance. Her family is adorable and her friend is fun.
Yunjae is stressing me out so damn much, I hate when a man who is already in a relationship doesn't set boundaries…
Amen. I feel so bad for her and how her situation makes her feel insecure about telling him things straight and asking for the basic things she should be asking from him. She deserves so much better but she doesn't know it.
Okay, so that grandpa is actually grandma. Interesting.
This was definitely my fave episode since there was less Yun Jae. I'm more invested in the secondary love triangle than the main couple tbh. I loved everything about Ji Eun and her family, tho. The sis and dad were so cute. And the mom is lovely too.
The bestie really needs to tell Ji Eun to back off while looking like that because girlie is getting all confused. LMAO I hope this situation doesn't harm their friendship. Maybe Yu Ri can end up with the player friend? I feel like she would try to fix him in a weird "this happened in my previous webnovel" type of way, lmao.
PS. The way everyone's going from "this is BL" to "this is GL", when it is neither... like, y'all need to learn about gay relationships from real life (as in real people), instead of webtoons and Thai dramas. Or at least ask chat GPT, it's 2025.
I finally get this show. This isn't about Yoon Jae loving Ji Eun even if she looks like a dude, it is about Ji Eun loving Yoon Jae even if he acts like an annoying child. A 15yo deals with situations more maturely than this guy. Yikes.
Ji Eun making everyone look gay HAHHAHAHAHA. Loved the supportive dongsaeng! But what kind of "friends" are those that don't even know her sister but ask for video calls with the boyfriend? Maybe now that they think she's a lesbian they'll mind their own damn business.
This was Lovely Runner (the new romcom standard) all over again. FL sacrificing herself over and over again to…
Yes. And it's very strange they didn't give him anything when (1) him being in love with SA did nothing for the story. He wasn't the typical SL who helps because he loves the FL and that's it. He genuinely cared for her AND GJ because they are his friends. All his moments could've been there even if he didn't like her that way and instead was in love with someone else. (2) they were hinting that A. the othet girl liked him and B. he was good with archery too. So why not give any of that to him??? And yes, the actor really did his best with the little he got. Really charming actor.
Like a lot of dramas this had a great starts and kinda fizzled out at the end. idk why writers never seem to have…
This was Lovely Runner (the new romcom standard) all over again. FL sacrificing herself over and over again to save her boyfriend's life. Yeom Hwa is the typical unnecessary serial killer who kills the com in romcom and makes the leads just cry every single episode until it's difficult to take them seriously. And in general plot doesn't really makes sense and drags for no reason but it's carried by the chemistry of the cast. And Ji Ho was the SL who's too cool to be there and should have his own show/love storyline.
We better get used to most romcoms being like this from now on.
Not gonna lie, I really like that her motivation isn't money and she's straight up delusional and twisted. I like my villains to be fun to watch in a very uncomfortable way. When their whole personality is "money" their scenes become a drag.
BL means "boys love", as in gay. Ji Eun is a girl who temporary looks like a guy. She doesn't think of…
There are NOT two boys in this show, so there's no way this could be BL in the first place. So my point is that it makes no sense people are calling this a BL only because the GIRLfriend looks like a dude sometimes. She is not a guy, so this will never be a BL.
But yeah, in general we've already seen BLs with bi/pan characters like Semantic Error or Ball Boys.
If the next tvN action drama doesn't have these four as the leads, I'm suing someone. They're soooo badass. They could be in something like Happiness or Moving. Or who knows, maybe a sageuk about some secret ninja academy lead by noble women. I'll take anything.
Honestly the way this case was resolved felt true to the show's rhythm. The point was to prove that her father…
I'm simply watching the show and paying attention? This is a very chill drama, this episode literally proved that to you and that's why you're disappointed, no?
Ask yourself: did the show try to be impactful about anything else or things simply got fixed easily every single time? The ex, pregnancy, chaebol rumors, etc. Everything has been solved without making a big deal about it. So I have no idea how making her dad's case "impactful" would've been a good fit for this show.
You can have your expectations, but they're not the reality of the show. Unless you produce your own show I guess.

I don't think the show was trying anything "impactful". The point wasn't the case or if the dad was guilty or not. They simply were trying to show Hui Ji's relationship with the people around her: parents, friends, boyfriend.
Yes, there are slice of life stories that are heavily mixed with other genres like melodrama, romance, etc. But this show isn't going for that. The show not being what you want is not fault of the show.
