this drama feels like a warm hug to me. do you guys have more recs like this? i've already watched hospital playlist…
Reply 88, Run On, Like Flowers in Sand, Birthcare Center, You Are My Spring, Tell Me That You Love Me, etc. But I would particularly recommend the film Christmas in August or any Zhang Lu film (A Quiet Dream, Fukuoka, etc).
I love this show and I won't shut up about it. π I just love how dramaless all the drama is. Also, can society be a little bit more like this group of friends? The way Hui Ji wasn't embarrassed about her family's situation (past or present), the way her friends tried to help instead of judge, and the way Ju Hyeong tried to be impartial so she could accept the possibility of things going south. Like, can we be like that? Or at least try?
PS. Is next week the whole team helping Mu Jeong sue her boss? π (I didn't watch the preview so this is not a real question).
People forgot that someone not being "their style" doesn't equal "wrong/bad". Like, why find it…
Koreans use λλΌλ§ (drama) in the same way. So when we call them dramas it's the same as calling them TV shows. It's like saying anime instead of animation. It's the same thing, only that one is the Japanese term. So it's okay to call them dramas or TV shows, it's the same. But yeah, people need to realize not everything is meant for them and that's okay. It's not the end of the world if they don't vibe with a TV show lmao.
Maybe he did... behind the screen π€·π½ββοΈI think is a normal reaction from someone who woken up with…
But the guy made the whole situation about himself and didn't even had the decency of asking her how she felt about it. Like, if he freaks out about his gf becoming a dude, wouldn't she freak out about becoming a guy too? It wasn't her choice or anything. All he could do was think about how gross it would be to kiss a guy or wtv, when she literally can't even work or do anything because of this situation. I know it's comedy, but the character is so insensitive Idk how am I supposed to believe he's a good/worthy boyfriend. I mean, I should be shipping him with her two versions but I just want to punch him. lmao
There is been a lot of debate about whether this show is BL or not but based on whatever i saw in the first two…
BL means "boys love", as in gay. Ji Eun is a girl who temporary looks like a guy. She doesn't think of herself as a guy. It's like they're reducing BL to having two male actors as leads, because if we're talking about how "queer" the show feels, it would go more to the side of a pansexual story if anything.
I can't stand Yun Jae. The way he keeps addressing Ji Eun because she looks like a guy is horrible. Dude literally punched her and didn't apologize. He keeps referring to her in strange ways (bad words to address guys in Korean), he treats her so cold, and he even tried to kiss another guy while still dating her. Like, can he just talk to her and explain how he feels?? Ji Eun doesn't deserve any of this.
I wish I had known the OG title from the beginning to prepare for how disturbing this was going to be. "The defects" makes it sound like a superhero team. lmao
WHY WOULD THEY LET THAT WOMAN GO AROUND FREELY???? Trap her somewhere, people! And don't simply let her hang around with all the shaman stuff so she can mess everything up. π€¦π€¦ She should be trapped in a well full of freaking holy water, because she's the only evil thing in the whole damn show. I'm so done with her.
I think it imply she killed people before. maybe not by hands but curse them to death
I wonder if there's evidence of that, tho. But for GU's case there's too much evidence and way too many witnesses. I think she could get at least a sentence for child abuse. Everything she did to him as a kid was disturbing. Dude's literally traumatized because of her.

This show is such a big win for me. It started raining and the sound of the rain made such a lovely episode feel even more cozy and fluffy.

Anyway, I liked it.
