I appreciate critical thinking, and I agree with some of the things you disliked about this drama but saying "i hate you guys" and "MDL has gone to the dogs or the 14 years old" has nothing to do with critical thinking. You could have made a polite comment why you didn't like this drama.

I never said ignore bad writing. I only said it is a drama, there a plotholes, not everything makes sense. There are dramas with much more and much less plotholes. Could you give me an example what was so unrealistic that it made the drama crumble?

Maybe you should try watching The Untamed Special Edition because it's much shorter (20 episodes) and focuses more on the relationship of the two main characters.

If you were annoyed by the female lead, disliked the writing, and found it gross that two men were courting a "mentally 6 years old", then why did you watch it? You could have easily found a drama much more to your liking, and your time would have been spared. Yeah, people said she does mature, but you had other problems as well other than the female lead - why watch it then?

It is a drama. Of course there are plotholes and some things do not make sense.

It depends. Although she still remains pretty innocent and childish for a long time, she has decent character development and becomes less and less naive by each episode. Towards the end, she will go through a big change and won't be childish anymore - quite the opposite, actually.

It all comes down to personal preference. I personally loved this drama and never once found the female lead annoying. She was meant to be childish and naive. She did mature throughout the episodes and had a decent character development. I am sorry you didn't like it but do not make this drama look so bad just because it doesn't meet your personal preferences.

I look forward to A Journey to You very much. Although based on the trailer it will be a lot darker than LBFAD, it is so promising. Shuxin's character this time will be a lot different than XLH but she already proved us how well she can pull off cold characters when the body swap happened and she had to act like DFQC.

Oh yeah, no bad ending pls, although I like it a little bit more than open endings because the characters get a closure at least. T..T

T..T Throughout the whole time I was team DFQC but I felt so sorry to Chang Heng, especially when she told him it wasn't even a crush (only mere gratitude) that she felt towards him. Btw there is an upcoming drama called Love You Seven Times, and Chang Heng has a cameo in it (since the two take place in the same universe.)

No, it only happens twice but even then it's very brief (a few episodes for the second time).

I still can't get over the scene when Xiao Lan Hua dies in the arms of Da Qiang, and he cries his heart out. That was so emotional. Dylan Wang is such an amazing actor! T..T

Yeah, you're right. But I like how it contributed to Danyin's character development and how it led to the talk between her and Chang Heng at Arbiter Hall. She became one of my favourite characters near the end.

OMG, I have just imagined Jie Li as Danyin's mother. T..T It was a weird casting choice indeed. TBH, the whole Jie Li and Danyin being siblings thing was pointless.

Same lol. It never made sense to me. Maybe because they didn't have much time left as the drama was nearing to its end, so they wanted to make clear those scenes were about Jie Li's parents instead of revealing it later?

Hi! There were two extras after episode 36. In the first one, Dongfang Qingcang tells us about his married life with Xiao Lan Hua but only the voice recording is new as the scenes are from DFQC's dream. The second one is a beautiful montage of some of the best scenes from the drama. Both are available on IQIYI as free episodes. Hope this helps! :3
