I bawled my eyes out in the last episode when Yi Chan's grandma came to the hospital & I don't remember the last time some drama actually made me cry. I felt this one in my soul! Such a nice ending as well, all things considered.
Also, I was determined not to watch this when it aired because I thought it would be too sad/nostalgic considering Yi Chan's future, but one clip of Choi Hyun Wook's acting had me scrambling. He's such a talented actor! Ryeoun was also amazing. I'll have to check some of his other works too.
Kang Dong Joo is not annoying, What he is saying comes from his experience, yes not explaining his decision is…
I did find Master Kim somewhat annoying in season 1, but over the course of later seasons he got much better. Season 3 Master Kim is my favourite version. As for Seo Woo Jin and Dong Hwa, it depends on the situation. I was on Woo Jin's side in the beginning when Dong Hwa acted like an irresponsible little sh*t, but in the case of that hurt ski jumper I found Woo Jin insufferable too. So yeah, no character in my eyes is perfect, but the lack of communication on Dong Joo's side was especially grating.

Exactly. He's annoying because he's not explaining anything to anyone. He could've sat down and explained his actions (and reasoning). So many issues would've been avoided that way.
Anyway, I like how they resolved everything in the end. He's redeemed in my eyes 😂
It really irks me how they're trying to make us pay fortune to watch this on some obscure site instead of putting it on a normal streaming platform, like WHAT IS THE POINT?! Whoever is responsible for this decision I hope they step on a lego 😒
I was so happy because of Kang Dong Joo's return but he's being annoying af. Even Cha Eun Jae's father seems more reasonable and likeable 🙃
Other than that, I really love everything about this season. It was 10/10 until Dong Joo showed up. I still have two more episodes so hopefully they'll resolve the whole situation with him.
I really love how they took the time to wrap up everyone's stories. I see a lot of people saying the last 4 episodes were fillers, but I don't agree with that. They were necessary to show how they both recovered and stood back on their feet.
Anyway, this is the type of k-drama that made me love k-dramas in the first place. The perfect blend of comedy, romance and drama.
Depending on where you stop with the story, even real history can be interpreted differently. As far as the main character doesn't die in the end, I'm satisfied. I don't need 'happily ever after'.
LMAO. The editing is wild!!!. especially EP11 when they met after 2 years. The Jump scare, the long epic music…
YES! That's the one I thought about when I wrote my original comment. It was so out of place! Thankfully, there were no scenes like that in later episodes, or at least they didn't stick out to me like that one.
I'm only on episode 6 but so far I really love it. I'd seen some clips previously so I knew what to expect (more or less), and I'm enjoying both the comedy and the more serious moments. Also, Park Hyung Sik is always such a joy to watch!
everyones saying that the chemistrys so good but i dont sense it 😭. Maybe its cuz i dont really like the actress
That could be the reason, I'm pretty neutral about her (watched her in only two dramas aside from this one) but I like how they portrayed the relationship here. I find it easy to believe that they like and love each other.
I felt the same way about the ML until about episode 8-10. And Id read the book where I knew he was going to become…
Yeah, whe she stopped acting like a dictator their relationship became likable, although I still didn't like how he continued acting like a doormat, lol. Still, all things considered, their character & relationship development is nice.
I'm only at the beginning but FL is so damn annoying 💀
Hmm, I didn't enjoy their dynamics AT ALL in the first 10 episodes but it becomes better after that. I really loved episodes 13 & 14 so I'm glad I pushed through the beginning.
Np. I wanted to love it, but I guess the trailer (which was very good) and synopsis raised my expectations too high so I ended up being disappointed by what I got 😂
I don't remember the song from ep. 1, but the one I originally wrote my comment for was in episode 4 I think. It really killed the mood for me 😩. I preferred fighting sequences where they didn't use any songs, like the fight between Gaku and Haru in the last episode. That was phenomenal!
I wish they made Fuma clan's motivation clearer from the beginning. The whole time the story felt aimless to me. Gaku's reason for betraying his family and joining Fuma was also weak in my opinion, considering how they killed people indiscriminately.
I guess all of it could be fixed if they make another season, but as a standalone there were many things that left me wanting more.
I enjoyed the family dynamics, action scenes and acting, but the plot could've been better.

9.5/10 because I enjoyed it so much!
