I'm so very disappointed with season 3 of HIStory. I was on the fence with Trapped, because I had no love for…
Ikr!! So many cringy and WTF moments like I'm wondering if that's naturally how Chinese teenagers act or just really bad acting and bad scriptwriting. I wasn't gonna watch this series because the leads didn't appeal to me but I had the same reservations with Trapped and gave that drama a chance, and I ended up liking Trapped. So I decided to cast aside my prejudices but man, I was sorely disappointed. I thought the drama will redeem itself after a few episodes, and XHT started to grow on me but somehow when he's almost adorable, that image was shattered by cringy dialogue.
I still thought the Bo Xiang/Zhi Gang relationship escalated quickly, as in how can one easily forgive a person who forced himself on you unless you have Stockholm syndrome.
How did the book end? Idk how the ending of the show really was like...did they both die???
But the PSA didn't work as well as it could because it sorta showed that rape could be swept under the rug with money, although I can understand where Shin is coming from as going to court would rehash all the bad memories he wanted to forget....but this is how bullies win....banking on one's weakness.....sad situation but true

But I would really like to see closure as in Keng being in jail and paying for his crimes. And at least people knowing the truth of what happened to Shin but then again Shin won't be able to face anybody even if they know the truth.
Wtf. I thought they would bring closure but instead they did follow the book. Anywho, now it's a good thing it's only 3 episodes because i would hate it if it's 15 only to end like that.
It depends, not everything is as simple as we imagine. I believe that gross mistakes can be forgiven when there…
Sadly quite a few BL dramas/books started out as rape and turned into relationships, this is also one of the bread and butter tropes of historical Harlequin Romances that still appeal to some readers/watchers unless they experience assault/rape first hand. I have to admit I was guilty too in believing this was okay until the shoe's on the other foot.
Oh!! And the ost is so beautiful.. Its painfully beautiful. Hearing it makes you just feel so sad :( but its beautiful..…
@minyoung that's great! I should've watched thr Guardian first as The Untamed set the bar high for me. ...I don't know if you also watched Men with Sword? If so, is it worth it?

Or dramas that put a clueless female with a genius reminiscent of It Started With A Kiss/Playful Kiss
