The real question is: why not? Out of all things, how can THIS bother people?
I'm not bothered about people being gay, (hello it's like shooting myself in the face) just the coincidence of it being all in the same family is too me, a bit farfetched.
The only thing I kept thinking about this drama is the burning question: what's in the water?
I'm already watching coincidence-defying Thai Bl dramas where a group of friends turn out to be gay, and now what are the odds that all 4 offsprings are gay is just beyond me. I might as well believe in aliens.

Amen to this. And people also adding unconfirmed drama adaptations from novels on this MDL should also stop it as a lot of them could be cancelled or not make it out of production and people would be wasting time waiting for years for a drama never coming to fruition. I see a lot here that the air date has been moved from year to year about at least 2 or 3 times. Judging even from the oldest comments alone, there's pretty much little chance of a drama airing if it's announced like 5 years ago and nothing to show yet.
On the flip side, these are not Avatar or big blockbusters from Western studios who have more reliability when it comes to producing a Marvel or Disney or whatever film, that the chances of them being canned is less likely unless something unforeseen happened. For these smaller production studios, the monetary investment is a key issue and of course, they hope to produce something that will give them profit and sometimes getting a head start on promotion is crucial. Maybe they're also taking the pulse on the level of interest their drama will have, to see if it generates enough buzz to actually be a good idea to go ahead and continue with the project.
If they put the poster out there and the reaction is ho-hum, they may decide to pull from the drama rather than spending more money on it that they already have. On the other hand, if there's a lot of anticipation towards the series, then they can convince investors for more funding.
I just wished it was the same actor who played Nagisa in the drama reprising his role in this movie. They had more chemistry together than what I can see from the trailer.
The ending was...okeyish, i guess. The payoff seemed a bit too shalow for Lhong, he just dropped out of school…
Yes the ending was a bit underwhelming I think because the rest of the drama was moving faster in comparison, and looked like it was building up to have an explosive ending. I think it was the inclusion of Lhong's scenes with the sister and at the bar took away what could be a better ending. It was like his bad actions were justified because he felt unloved. I didn't need to see that and I really could care less if he's apologetic. Tar suffered because of him and it looked like the show was trying to let us see what Lhong was going through.
The ending episode also seemed repetitive for me and probably was only extended to include Tin and Pete's cameos that were unnecessary. I would have liked to see a playful not necessarily hot peck between the two, when they're on the bridge like all the other dramas and panning out.
Honestly i think that this listing should be combined with MFFL and not a new entry as technically it is one drama that Netflix split into 2 "seasons". Imagine if DOTS or other korean, taiwanese, chinese, thai, etc dramas be split like this in listings there'll be so many entries talking about the same drama. Because it's not an actual sequel like Full House take 2 or Nirvana in Fire 2 because the first ones are complete stories. Western TV shows operate differently and even then you don't say GOT 2, GOT 3, etc. They will refer it to season 2 of Game of Thrones.
The trailer is a little bit cringy for my taste, and looks like this drama has so many pairings. I'm fine with 2 couples but a drama having so many couples/characters really prevent the show from being concise that it feels like it's a hookup party and the other side couples have very little screen time to develop their respective plots. Most likely I will wait until after it airs and checking out the reviews before starting this drama.

I think there will be no season 2 beacuse plot-wise, LBC is the season 2 of TharnType.
This I agree. LBC had too many couples for me, much like 2Moons and also watched LBC mainly for AePete. And as for TT season 2, I also want a TT-story focused, and maybe a Tum/Tar development at most. But I'm not liking this Tar and prefer the Tar in LBC.

No worries. You didn't hurt me personally. It was just the sweeping generalization I guess that I felt the need to defend other fans. Also I'm usually passive in other forums even though I frequently visit them but I rarely comment on them, especially if I encounter posts that look unreasonable as it would be a my waste of time. I only thought to respond to yours as I saw well-thought out comments despite the difference of opinion. But ultimately, I'm here to enjoy the series and just look for morsels of TharnType/MewGulf. :)
