Finally a drama that deserves its hype. Was really apprehensive going into it as 9.9/10 of the overhyped dramas or movies are a joke and for some reason people love to bandwagon. But this one was totally justified.
If you really paid attention and wouldn't be such a snowflake, the point of the show was to turn the tables back on them and do the same thing they were doing to their victims ... and well well wouldn't you know it just so happens that the majority of bullying involves physical domination.
Was it good? Yes. Does it deserve the hype it's getting no. Premise was really good, first 5 episodes were tight, gripping, emotional, and then somewhere along the way it goes off the rails .... it was around the time where the north Korean agent shows up in the harbor and he lets himself be stabbed - like your daughter is waiting for you, who knows how many more guys you gonna have to fight and he's fucking around like it's a Sunday walk. Then the brain rot starts. Like the amount of stupidity ... from her just standing up like she hasn't bled out 2l of blood and hasn't eaten and drank anything for 2 days, to ofc that idiot magically picking her up on the street, the SMD. Pure brain rot.
But on the other hand ... some people didn't like the second part storyline. I think the idea was quite nice but again the execution was a bit shaky. Where this show really shines is the chemistry between the three leads. And I think it's what saved it in the end. Especially the two friends of his. Their acting was phenomenal. Even all the newbies did a great job.
Just rewatching donghua to prep for S5 release, and gotta say the live action completly botched Mo Cai huan and Chen Qian Qian. Mo Cai huan in donghua is sweet, strong, determined and has this bittersweet quality to it. You can’t help but to feel for her. Whereas in the live action she’s whinny, clingy and overall super annoying and they were trying so hard to make her the “romance” of the story. Same for Chen Qian Qian in the donghua she’s super cute and endearing, whereas in the live action she looks like a bimbo, there is nothing behind her eyes. The actresses they got for these two roles were absolutely subpar. When watching the donghua you findyourself geniuenly rooting for then two of them, in a way maybe even more so than Nangong Wan haha. And feel for them and the their dissapointment when it doesn’t happen. In the live action you just want them to go away as fast as possible. On the other hand Nangong Wan in the live action is absolutely fantastic, in some ways even better than in the donghua.
Whichever retard wrote this episode, needs to be publicly stoned. This was literally hurting my brain. Yelling at someone who doesn't remember anything that it was all hist fault and refusing to let him regain his memory (which only you can do), while choosing to listen to random strangers is the pinnacle of not only stupidity but pure brain rot. This episode was the closest an episode can bring you to dropping a show.

I agree, nothing wrong with that idea, just with your comprehension of what sexist is - and the way you argue about it is quite telling. Now either you don't know because you've been influenced by your surroundings to just repeat catch phrases or if you're doing it on purpose then I don't know what to tell you. Either way it's a disservice to people who are on the receiving end of true sexism.

The only person cringe and not fit to speak in this whole conversation is you. Throwing word like sexist and malicious around playing the victim card and assassinating the person's character because you don't have a sound argument against something he said that offended you. Throwing those words around doesn't make you special, nor well-informed, nor appear intelligent.
