Nowhere close to Fairy and Devil. On ep11 now and want to punch the screen. Considering dropping it.

Wasn’t really into pure love Xianxia before but Dylan Wang impressed me a lot in Guardians of Dafeng so decided to give Love Between Demon and a Fairy a go and absolutely loved it. Then saw some people badmouthing it saying it copied Love and Redemption which is supposed to be hundred times better. So decided to give it a go. But boy what a shitshow this is. Was this made for people with IQ of 10? Don’t mind FL acting like a child but everyone around her is acting like complete idiots. Who thought that watching these retarded forced misunderstandings for more than a few episodes would be fun?! And why is every female character in this so annoying? I’m on ep11 and really struggling. My question is does it get better and when? And please don’t comment if you are under the age of 18 and/or a fangirl/fanboy.

One of the most whiny spoiled man-child ML in history of K drama. If I play devils advocate this role might’ve been better with a different actor. But still the writing is rotten. He’s a god because of? Plot armor ofc!

It's more along the lines of: if you question the person these fans are obsessed with you get the most toxic behavior possible, and for a bonus a personal attack. And this is what most of the people are sick of. Just look at this thread. And I still stand by what I wrote. Most idols are not very good. Granted what's good can be quite objective. But if you take them and put them next to a good seasoned actors/actresses even a blind person can see the difference. Now I quite like Bae Suzi. And she's also very pretty. But objectively still her "acting" is very limited. And she has had quite a few roles under her belt.

It's completely ridiculous. How exactly did he saw intelligent, kind, etc in her? If noting else he saw complete opposite when she was about to torture him and was yelling at him. For someone so smart that manages to navigate other intricate characters, guessing their MOs and coming up with elaborate plots this is beyond ridiculous.

What defines real actors is training, not waking up one day and because you're famous all of a sudden you're an actor. Yes I do agree that there are still trained actors who aren't that good.

Haha indeed I started doing exactly that but sometimes it's really frustrating when you wanna watch a good show as far as the premise goes with a good actor that you like and they pair him up or her with an idol

Really good point! I had the exact came thoughts. But I think in the second part it's down to the bad writing. of the Grand Princesses character, as well as the strong need for plot armor. Yeah she's preoccupied with political games but they made her into this emotional constipated stooge. She just hands over XQA to LinAn - one of the most irrational decisions is when she was just about to recommend XQA for the lead investigator and LinAn interrupts her, and not only she lets her but she also tells her that he's in jail so she can save him - very convenient as the whole premise of why XQA forgives LinAn is because "she save his life" - (facepalm). I mean how much more plot armor do you need??!?!! But plot armor aside, it should be exactly because she's so politically savvy she should keep XQA on leash for political reasons if she doesn't have any feelings towards him. And later when she offers him the badge to work for her - which shows this exact intent - the decisions before don't make sense any sense. I think this drama would ultimately be better without any romance.

I agree with you 100%. This would have been so much better without the ML FL romance or a different FL! OMG Dylan Wang is in Ever Night 2?! I never bothered because they changed the cast but after seeing this show I might go and watch it now! Thank you for pointing it out!
