Yup. I have the same thoughts. My theory is they are writing scripts to suit keen. I like him but heโs not the…
keen is WIDELY regarded as one of gmmtv's better actors so ur opinion is definitely unpopular (and probably not the reason why they are doing school dramas), but i will say this, seakeen are young, so young that they both haven't graduated college. they are the age to play students because they are students, and it doesn't help because gmmtv is a channel for teenagers that they have a abundance of scripts like this (and deliberately chooses them).
as much as i want seakeen to also take on something different, its just not realistic right now. just like you said, you LIKE seakeen, its undeniable that they are good at this. which makes gmmtv even less likely to change it up. they NEED a couple like this; they are one of the few younger couples who are capable of carrying a whole show by themselves.
most importantly. might i add, we have time! this is only seakeen's THIRD year. adding weirdo makes their fourth show. seakeen are only getting started, other scripts will arrive. this is a criticism that also thrown around when ppw were doing we are, and since then theyve grown out of those scripts too.
also i just want to say i think everyone's idea of cheewa might be a bit different than who he actually is as a character, so far from what ive seen, the show has pretty accurately depicted the novel.
Agreed this makes no sense ๐ตโ๐ซis he popular or nerdy? Now heโs all of a sudden a basketball player as…
actually the basketball part and the handsome and liked part were all in the novel. i don't want to spoil but its all really faithfully adapted.... ๐
wow i cant believe theres so much negativity that came about the official trailer, i personally really enjoyed it (plus a trailer really shouldnt be giving so much away) and i honestly think Sea is continuiously improving and seakeen are cementing themselves as a strong pair that have good shows.
Definitely one of the best Chinese dramas this years for me, tbh when i started watching it it got hooked immediately, but there was a lot of outside influence ๐ . I actually found this drama when I was scrolling through Chinese media (with me being Chinese and understanding mandarin) and through out all I heard was good reviews, I actually have been planning to watch this drama the moment I heard it started! But I wanted to wait a bit and see how it plays out,,, (kudos to chinese neitzens being great at finding hidden masterpieces!) and since there's been only praise and love till even the ending of the the drama I've decided to watch it and, MAN it was genuinely one of the best this year, I know that some people didn't like the ending very much but, I think it was a well deserved one, you may be hesitating to watch, and I say DON'T! I personally loved this show, without spoiling too much this show is very similar to one of my other favs "someday or one day" although not time looping still has some time tampering with it. This show gives me a lot of my favorite things like mystery, and thriller, some of my favorite actors, and can keep my attention, and that is very hard to keep (for reals the longest c-drama I've never skipped a scene in is you are my honor) which is the reason why I loove most dramas that end in like 15 eps, so this quite literally hit every spot I was looking for, some might say the ending was rushed but... tbh if this show was more than 25eps it would've probably gotten super boring, which is why this concludes the best way to start 2022.
OKAY!, So I know y'all don't need anymore positive reviews, but this was such an intricate story for me not to! The story's synopsis really doesn't do the drama justice. This really isn't your plain sad/emo(ionless) dude and quirky girl that changes his life, it has everything ranging from mystery to psychological to family and even a little bit of horror(depends on who your asking though I personally didn't find it scary whatsoever). Which defiantly sounds like a lot of genres for one drama to take right? But it really did it and I loved it (although there was some minor set backs).
I really was tempted to make a whole ass review but I'm just trying to save you time.
Omg IKR!! And they always gave free/ discounted food to the weightlifters, I was like how can they afford this
same here but i think they do explain that they arent really rich and i think there was an part near the last ep with the FL crying cuss of all the payments for her and her crying and also there was part where the uncle was like you can't keep giving discounts!
We really need need an season 2 and here's why 1.I want to know what happens for the second leads romance 2. I want to know what will happen in their college 3. I always thought that Ou yang was an playboy and i want some explantion on that 4. I want to know will HJZ get a love interest and i so want to see what his daily life is because he didn't go to school 5. IT'S JUST WAY TOO GOOD FOR IT TO END LIKE THIS
They did an really good job it's not that easy to make an story out of a story that's not even finshed yet and did a good job of explaining the two body thing and fixing plot holes here and there so i would call this an pretty good drama!
Different strokes for different folks, obviously. I'm putting this on hold at Ep 9. If I'm 1/3 of the way in &…
well i heard that this is really like from itazura na kiss and trust me the male lead is wayy more irritating in that ver. so this is a much much much more fluffier ver. and their romance will become better in the later eps trust me keep watching it's going to be worth your time!!
