'92 episodes' ...Oh dear ...but China has come out with a law so dramas can't be any longer than I think its 48…
they might split it into 2 "seasons"

I did like it however I must say that for me this drama definitely lacked focus. What was it about? Episodes were…
it's really just about how doctors have their own lives both in and out of the hospital. connecting the different departments by a group of friends helps to show how they all work differently, but face similar struggles. they show how relationships can be affected by filled schedules and emergencies. it kind of acts like a pseudo reality tv show/docuseries in a way

what determines release dates?
a lot of things: drama length, if there needs to be any reshoots, post-production, how quickly the drama is approved for release, when they obtain a distribution license, when they find distributors. each of those varies in time too. typically costume dramas take a several months (even longer for fantasy), while modern is usually only about 3 months. some dramas never air if they can't get the drama approved and get a distribution license.

they just finished shooting scenes about 2 weeks ago. im hoping this comes out by the end of this year or early…
(note: usually guzhuang dramas take longer than modern dramas in post. and even longer if there's any fantasy element to it. thats why i estimate by the end of the year to early next year for a premier. this gives post-production around 5-7months to edit the drama in its entirety. 58 episodes that are 45min each? LOTS of content to go through)
