It started off well but it started unraveling halfway due to the very poor writing. The caliber of actors is higher than usually see in vertical dramas so the script was a waste of their talent.

i saw the kalos version and the soundtrack helped vs the versions I saw on YouTube. there was no chemistry between the leads. It's not worth watching even if you are a yilei fan.ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I've just watched the 8th version of this story with zhang beiyi, which was solid.
I have seen parts of all 8 versions and the two that stood out the most were the yilei version because he's hot and the wang nan, which was a good all-rounder.
