one day your hate comments on an actress can lead them to killing themselves
It's one thing to hate their work and it's a completly different thing to hate the person. Actors get paid handsomely to do their job, and as someone who like to watch and actually analyze how things are done, I think I have the right to critize one's work as long as I don't take things personally. I never said anything that has to with the person but the character's she playing it, or do you really think I'm the only one reviewing her work?
Actors know that not everyone will enjoy their performance but I'm not a hater of said actress. This is in fact the very first time I've watched a drama with her, the problem is that she's the lead in a drama with one of the best actors in the industry right now. It's hard not to compare. This is literally a place for discussing this artform, and in a discussion not everyone will agree with you nor will absent their criticism torwards an actors/actress. Read all my comments and please, show me where I said something that could lead someone to taking drastic measures. Everything I said here was based on my view of her acting skills, nothing more, nothing less. I'm pretty sure an actress knows that people will not enjoy their work even if they gave their all. Even the most amazing people working on TV have negative critics about their work. It looks to me that you're the one needing validation for either liking the drama or the actress too much.
you are really bad at choosing what drama you watch everywhere I see you you always have something bad to talk…
You're probably right, the thing is that I'm really fed up with how dramas are being done in the last year or so. I' ve seen a lot of dramas in the past 3 years and I can't help but compare the good ones to the bad ones.
Woah, even tho I had a lot of problems with this drama, the ending was very good. Probably because the last 2 episodes were mainly focused on Do Jung Woo
I really hope SeolHyun got a big fat check from this drama because her character is one of the worst leads I've seen in the last three years in crime/thriller dramas.
I'm just hoping for an ultra twist regarding Gong Hye Won in the next 4 episodes (just finished ep 12) or else she will be the supporting character with the most screentime in kdrama history!
"hey so dad, I just found out that you're one of the worst persons in the world but I will just hear what you have to say". And there are people who really want to defend this character.
And so people continue to sleep over a genuinely good sci fi fantasy thriller with ambition and then ask why they…
The plot is interesting, the characters are not. The male lead has a clear personality and vision, but everyone else is meeh. And it's not like this is the most unique thriller out there. You get the organization that somehow is tied up with the most powerful people in the country, you get the corrupted doctor (or insert prosecutor here) that thinks he's doing what it right even if it costs someone else's life), and soon .. We have seen that a hundred of times. I don't have a problem with it as long as the characters are interesting (and they were in the first 6 or so episodes), but as far as episode 11 goes, they are not. I will finish this for the sake of completion.
That reporter is 100% based on the reporter from Flower of Evil. The guy who everyone though is the evil media but somehow gets involed in the story more than he wanted to.
Only the first 6 episodes are worth watching IMO. The drama becomes a mess after that, and I'm not even talking about the plot itself. Most of the characters become annoying after ep 06, some of them that are supposed to be geniuses (they wouldn't stop talking about it) but they start to act REALLY dumb, important things are revealed and a certain character that was supposed to the righteous one simply reacts to it like a psychopath.
What is so bad about Hyewon’s character? I’m seriously wondering. Someone calling her useless when a whole…
I watched the first 08 episodes in one go and then took a 3-week break. When I started watching it again (3 hours ago) I could remember everyone's personality and goals.... but I couldn't remember hers. I haven't watched a drama with her before this one so I can't say if it's her acting or if the writer isn't doing her justice but.... the story so far (10 episodes in) could literally be told without her character existing, and that says A LOT. Jamie's character seems like a funnier version of Cha Myung Joo from "Diary of a Prosecutor" and she has a personality and goal. Gong Hye Won's only personality trait so far is that she likes the main lead and that she admires him.
"Even tho she loves Jungwoo, her duties always come first". And what are her duties? To believe that the ML isn't a bad guy and that she must prove that he isn't bad because her character would never fall in love with a bad guy. And that's as far as her character's go. Remember that she was a traffic officer and she only left because the male lead recruited her. There's nothing refreshing about her character at all. Her entire plot revolves around the male lead. She is one of the main leads and so far I haven't seen a flashback telling her story and how she dealt with an absent father, and yet we see flashbacks from the other leads on every damn episode. You can literally write off her entire character and very few things would've changed. You can easily transfer her father's plot to any other character around her.
Now about that scene from when she watches the video and sees THAT and her reaction is "huh..." that's on the actress. No anger, no fear, nothing.

Jesus Christ, what's up with this writing?
