I understand all of that, my problem is how they've done it and how they're taking out the second couple screentime. There are better ways to achieve the same result. Perhaps I'm reaching my kdrama slump because I feel like I've seen the same thing a million times.

Kang Ha Na was listed as one of the main roles in Start-Up and barely showed up. Hospital Playlist had like 12 main leads and still managed to give each one of them enough time in almost all episodes.

Yeah, totally. My main issue is that it feels like there isn't enough time for the second couple, who apparently are "main roles". I think the frustation comes from watching it weekly, I don't think they will stretch this out for too long, but for now, the sister got more screentime than the second couple lol
Jamie looks and has a similar personality to Cha Myung Joo from Diary of a Prosecutor, she just happens to have a better sense of humor. I want a drama with them taking out the bad guys. Make it happen, tVN.

That's why you don't use MDL ratings for anything. I prefer to read reviews from people who actually care about the story rather than seeing pretty faces on TV. I watched so many good dramas that had "low" rating here, while some of the most mediocre stuff I've seen had like 8.6 or 8.7. After a while you learn to ignore the rating and care more about what people are saying about it.

I mean, the detective and the counter were a couple, so I think it obvious there was something going on there, even tho I still think they will use that for some drama. While I agree that there are some hints for the "kids", they mostly about their job (touching hands to connect their souls) or it's because they're the same age.
