The best dramas are the ones where everything happens reasonably. If you don't need much then that's your problem.

Of course you need to watch it. Season 2 won't give you why some characters act a certain way since the production takes as if you already know why thing are the way they are at that hospital. Like, whole plot of why he's called Doctor Romantic is in season 1.

This ship has sailed a long time ago, my dear MDL user. Only if they get divorced by the end and there's like a hint of romance or something, but this is not happening. Not that kind of a show.

The first season is great, but it takes a while for you to be fond of the characters. If by ep 5 you're feeling it I would say drop it, but since this is mostly a character based drama knowing why they act a certain way is really important.

Yeah, it's pretty common even for kdramas viewers, actually. Most of the time some low-status villain has a wife and kid living somewhere else and they use this as a threat or something. Korea is not a big country and the road is well paved so I don't think this is a big problem for them. I was rooting for a bit of romance though, sadly it won't happen.

That's really common, actually. They're still married but he works at a branch outside a big city where most moms with money usually take their kids to school. Another common thing is to have the kids and mother to live abroad while the husband works in South Korea.
