Even though it's a Korea drama and they're aren't as progressive when it comes to this, it's 2019, I doubt they would do something like this considering how much they rely on international viewers.

They look like super heroes on this type of dramas but when it's a political or police one they look like assholes, haha.

You still don't get the point. I recommend that you read the article mentioning this so you could educate yourself on this matter. Also, look how China deals with this and see if this is just " the way things are going to be from now on". Cheers.
