UNREASONABLE!

My headline says it all! What a disappointment.

Finally having a chance to be with your long time crush and not grabbing it just because of a cliche reason of his father hindering you? Then solving that issue towards the end yet you still don't want to be him?

Ben knew what happened to Jim while he was gone. He was disowned by his father and lived a miserable life after finding out that he is also in love with Jim. As if he was not moved a little to think that he was the one who displayed his feelings first. His eyes always looked like he's about to cry but his actions contradicts it. As if he leads us on wanting to get back with Jim but Jim ends up listening to Ben and Roy exchanging I love you's.

My heart breaks for Val. Unlike some comments here, he did not take advantage of Jim. His intentions were pure. He even told Jim not to rush things between them. Then he just let go of him like that when he knew he can't replace Ben in his heart.

The ending was the most unreasonable part. It sums up how the story was messed up and non sense. Ben and Jim finally had a chance to talk and catch up with all the things they went through. Ben even said he loves Jim and will always carry him in his heart and mind. But takes it back saying they can't be together that time. IDK what does he mean by not meant to be together at that moment even if they still love each other and all issues were solved. What makes it more fucked up is that after that heart to heart talk, Jim goes back to the party, holds hands with Roy, act intimately with each other and smile like no one is hurting. I CANNOT! I REALLY CANNOT!

My only consolation is the side actors and their stories. I personally think Olan and Yana, Dante and Flo and The "Orgy" couple were cute and adorable. EJ Jallorina has always been a good actor, but I found the acting of his partner Miko off in this series. (He made a better job in his previous BL tho.)

My verdict goes with majority of the commentaries here. A BIG NO. MESSED UP. UNJUSTIFIABLE. UNREASONABLE. NON SENSE.

ALL-TIME BEST

What more could I ask? Everything ATOTS has offered is beyond outstanding.

This series did not just go outside the box, it went extra miles outside it. From a typical school or university romance, ATOTS has given a different interpretation of schooling. It brought us closer to traditions, culture and simple living in Pha Pun Dao. It wants us to go back to our heritage, not just for Thais but for everyone's cultures as well. We must learn to appreciate our roots and never forget them because it is the mirror of who we are now. It also wants us to realize that no challenges and problems can beat a strongly-bonded community. One can do something, but many can do more.

The casts were impeccable. I can not complain with every single actor with their respective portrayal of their characters. Mix is such a great actor considering his inexperience. If no one knew that, no one would have thought that it was his first series and as a lead at that. Pairing him with Earth is a eureka indeed. Earth always do well in his projects, but I can't find enough words to praise his work in this series. Their chemistry worked really well. I can't also choose anyone to replace Nammon, Drake, Champ, White and Khaotung to do better than they did. Those who watched it can all agree that the series was made even special and fun because of them. The one who played Khama, the village chief was the best philosopher in all BLs. He was not just there for nothing. His words of wisdom touches the soul and pierces the heart. The kids were adorable and sweet. Truly, the series was meaningful because of them.

The OST is perfect, not only because it matches the countryside theme but it just gives me the feels of all the scenes every time it is played. Thank you for giving us this music.

They did the right move not to spoil us with many kissing scenes. Just the last episode was enough to make us believe in the reality of their love.

I can't believe this is over. I want more and I know I am not alone wishing. If only I could go to the cliff and count 1000 stars to make my wish come true, I will.

Hope to see EarthMix in more projects soon.

Loving the Mess

This drama will make you feel like everything is happening so fast yet the story progresses slow. The actions of some characters may also be difficult to understand for some level of unreasonable causes. Other characters just pop out from nowhere. Im So Hyang took this drama into a new level compared to Gangnam Beauty, seemingly perfectly fit to the depth of the story. Ji Soo always hits the right emotion needed. And Kim Mi Kyung once again proved why she could be the best mother, aunt or confidant. My biggest respect to this actress for giving her all in all her projects. I did not get the ending I want, as usual just like in many K Dramas I've watched. It kept me on the edge and teased me until the last episode wanting for more and then this Thank You message popped in. I'm half broken. Over all, it was a great series - I don't care about the mess, I loved it!

Truly worth it!

I am quite hesitant to start watching this show with the taught that it might be the typical high school drama with all the cliché and nothing special. But I am totally WRONG!

Though many of the elements of a Korean high school drama is present, especially the theme of bullying, it was given another angle and perspective. The actors were all effective and very fit to their respective roles. Acting were all on point or even going beyond that, making the series more realistic. Hats off!

And my most important point. HAHAHA. Is it only me? I am obsessed with the cuteness of Kim Yoo Shin! I mean who doesn't? He's such a sweetheart. He made many scenes in the series happy and bright and I know many of you were smiling everytime he appears in a scene. I hope to see him more in many dramas. PLEEEEEEEASE!

Worth viewing. You should see it.

10 COZ WHY NOT?

It took me long to finally decide watching this series and I am not regretting my decision. I should have watched it earlier.

Historical, fantasy and the present time. It was perfectly combined and the transitions form past to present, from real world, to dreamworld and to afterlife, with it's magical elements can all be easily comprehended without rewind.

The comic relief injected in many scenes balances this heavy drama that tackles on unspoken feelings, dreams, and good byes. Romance is just a bonus, but I can't complain since the story and the plot is really good.

Jung Eum is perfect to the role. I could not think of other actress seemingly fit to portray Wool-ju. Hands up to her crying skills, full of real emotions one could really be carried away. Sungjae is such a sweetheart. I will never get tired watching him. I hope to see him more in many projects.

It was a series of laughs and cries. If someone was watching me while I watch, probably think I am insane. I definitely recommend this to everyone who is looking for peculiar stories to watch. You'll definitely not be disappointed.

WORTH EVERY SECOND

I just randomly selected a movie to watch, but it left me satisfied after watching it.

Most of the story is set in the countryside far from the toxic urban culture. Though I have seen some BL series and movies of the same setting, I still loved the old-fashion and nostalgic ways in the countryside. Many Japanese culture were reflected in the story like table manners, matchmaking, filial piety and many more. It added local color to the story, which I really enjoyed. What's more to it were the shots of sceneries and landscapes which are really wonderful.

The actors were fit to their roles. They were cute and innocent. They were very effective in delivering this light hearted BL movie. The conflicts were mostly internal and personal, even jealousy was very light . In short, the movie was really not toxic to watch.

The music were great too, perfect to the ambiance of the story.

Overall, I give it a 10. I am very happy to have come across this movie when I was just supposed to kill time. It gave me more than entertainment - life lessons and reflections as well.

If you are looking for a light drama about friendship, family and love, then this is just the perfect movie for you.

MORE!

It's another Korean mini BL series. I mean, WHY? The plot about a mono and a probe is interestingly new and very promising. It could have been a great way to play with the story if it was in regular full-length series. So what happened was it became obviously shortened with many gaps and other angles not given a shed of light, leaving the viewers many questions in mind. I wish a bit more background was given about the early days of having color blindness and face blindness for both of the main leads. What about the progress of the search for the mom who was a mono, too? What really happened the day she went missing? What was the images about her underwater? I guess this is the result of having the series short. But it also gives us a hint of a very big possibility of having seasons.

Korea joined the BL world by starting short series with different main leads. It's good that they are giving chances to other actors to show their potentials and each drama recently released were given justice. I just hope that they won't end in just one series but take this as a starting point to have more projects like in Thai BL where the main ships were given series of projects.

The actors in this series can be considered reasonably good. Perhaps they were originally idols and not actors. If given the chance to do more projects though, I believe they'll do it better. Practice makes perfect, we say. But the chemistry is really effective.

Again, I hope there will be a next season and all questions that were left unanswered be cleared then.
