C-drama writers really need to retire this trope of someone pining after a married person, haha. It seems to be showing up quite often lately. I recently came across it in A Splendid Match as well.

I wish them nothing but the best in their life. But honestly, somewhere deep down, my teenage, naïve idea of a “happily ever after” takes a small dent every time I hear about a couple breaking up after being together for so long. I know I’m older now and have seen enough relationships fail to know it happens, but a part of me still wants to believe in love that lasts forever. ._.)
