I noticed that too, it was like he was gauging Dee's response & felt disappointed by the answer... but then, he genuinely seems clueless about his feelings bc he still seems interested in Taem when they're together 🤨 I'm as confused as Dee 👀 & then when Dee asked Yak why he didn't join the group's celebration (something that Taem is a part of), he reminded Dee that they already had plans... typically pple will do anything to spend time w/ their "crush," but no resistance from Yak at all! As someone who hasn't read the novel, the age gap would concern me if any feelings were involved during the body swap but again I don't have the foresight to know what will happen 🤷🏻♀️ love the ending as it stands, I don't see any controversy there either!

I get where you're coming from, bc the only time I saw an inkling of interest from Fang was the moment they got together (holding hands and kiss to the cheek reactions... super cute btw <3) but other than that... it merely appears that Fang is just going along with it, which is a bummer as Tan goes above and beyond for him :(
