Because there's another season. They would've done better naming it Season 2 Part 1 because it was basically half a season, the writer himself said he couldn't fit the season into 10 episodes and it went well over 14, so he split it.
I didn't understand why the fisherman forbade young Sa Eon to call him dad. At that time, I found his words harsh…
If you know Sa-Eon's secret (he's "his grandpa's" son), it should be easy. Fisherman was merely someone who "took care of things" for the grandpa (like disposing of bodies of children real psycho Sa-Eon killed). Fake Sa-Eon is an illegitimate child of grandpa hence grandpa left him with the fisherman to be raised. Grandpa would've simply abandoned him if real Sa-Eon did not turn out to be a total psycho and hassle and need to be replaced. Fisherman was merely kind of like an employee and wouldn't dare let the big man grandpa's son call him dad because he's simply a "small man" and clean-up guy of those rich people.
It wouldn't have been hard to call in a tip to Sa-Eon's office. As far as I remember, they had already put up a hotline in the news so people could get in touch if they recognize the kidnapper, and that's when Fisherman called in the tip, and fake Sa-Eon traced the number to find him.
If you really think about it, it's kind of sad how the only 3 people Sa Eon trusted with his life either misunderstood…
Atleast he got them all back in the end, so that's good. I was afraid the fisherman would pass away but he was alive and well and they get to be in each others' lives!
This drama is really good! I love how they manage to mix comedy into all the investigation, and the team spirit…
I don’t bother with early ratings and advise others not to, they start out super low for thrillers, then as people finish the series they rate it more fittingly and the rating goes up. Recent examples: Light Shop and Family Matters were both rated under 8.0 while ongoing and have more fitting ratings now.
Bae Doona and Kim Hyesoo dramas especially start out with weird ratings then go up later as their fans are a bit more on the mature side and prefer to rate fairly after watching a few episodes or finishing the drama.
When did they get together?Any breakup? How long?Any love triangle? Annoying?Happy ending?
- Married from the start but "get together" (confess+kiss) end of episode 7. - Separate for around 6 months in episode 12 but not separated maritally, just apart. - SML had a one sided crush on FL but wasn't annoying, it was just kinda there. SFL is a fan of ML and respects him+his marital status. - Yes happy ending!
I like makjang elements but not full makjang. Typical makjangs have women (esp moms) screaming their heads off and men (esp dads) beating employees to a pulp with golf clubs. Cases in point: Penthouse, Escape of the Seven, Eve. Makjang elements I enjoy (mostly for laughing at, they make for good entertainment) are faked deaths, birth secrets, over-the-top punishments for perpetrators, etc. One thing I liked about recent majkang-lite dramas like When The Phone Rings, Queen of Tears, and Marry My Husband are the elements are toned down, the moms are less screamy and more cold and calculating, the dads are caricatures (rich but kinda goofy). While they (like Hee-Ju's mom) were annoying, they didn't raise my blood pressure by being out of left field irrational. Oh and also no cheating and if there was then the protagonist ended up with someone good in the end (like in Marry My Husband) instead of being chased the whole drama and nothing coming of it (like in Doctor Cha).
imagine if the dad does make it out but when he goes back to the hospital his daughter has passed away due to…
Isn’t that also Gi-Hun and In-Ho’s story (if we put 2 and 2 together and believe what In-Ho said)? They won, but returned home to find mom/wife dead, so the dad could be the third with the daughter passing away. One turned into Frontman, one turned into a vengeful returning player, wonder what route the dad will take.
Honestly I’m glad she did lmao the wait between seasons is TOO LONG with no info or updates. If anything that spoiler made me want to watch S3 when it comes out because atleast there’ll be some interesting switch-up plot, so if it was a planned move it worked on some impatient viewers like me.
I saw someone say that she is getting hate because she mentioned Cha Eun Woo at the MBC Drama Awards, and this…
That’s absurd considering she was his co-star in their most recent romcom (which aired on MBC so it’s a relevant mention, not just random). They are the more current pairing, True Beauty was ages ago.
