Thank you. I did enjoy that and watched every episode. BJT was a gentleman,full of integrity and soul. TJW was quite sparkly though imo at times it was a bit cubic zirconia but I still enjoyed her performance. There were many aspects to love.

I agree with your thinking on every point. However, I could respond by cynically saying ..oh well, no respect, no communication, no self awareness, no development , no maturity etc then this wouldn't be a C drama. But " Meet Yourself" the characters have respect ,maturity, communication, self awareness and development in a open manner so no excuses. Scriptwriting.

I'm not sure if I'm going to watch if one of the Leads die. I've seen too many C dramas where you get invested in a character then wham they're dead.

Yes, you have a point. Those "lost bits' you talk about would give us more clues as a lot of assumptions have to be made so far.

I agree. This drama may have been quite palatable if it had been released in 2019. 3-4 years make a huge difference in fast changing culture and values. I do like the ML so hooked on to see what this was about. When dramas like "Meet Yourself"etc are released ( script writing,production values,budgets are at different level) there is no comparison and so people get frustrated. Premise of story is good but script development lets it down.

I think part of the script issue is that this drama was made pre 2019 and only released now. During this time more authentic and realistic quality plots and writing have been shown e.g. Meet Yourself thus its put this drama at a disadvantage. I agree it makes this look subpar whereas if it was released in 2019 it may have got a better reception?

Who does not adore "Meet yourself" Ah Yao..... truly, imo, the ML summit of all C drama leads. The confession scene by the lake has to be the best I've seen, so simple yet lyrical. He conveyed more than any other ML I've seen so far, the depth,honesty and purity of his love . Who wouldn't want that!

Yes, I'm hanging in there to find out. Please don't make him needy or have some seedy backstory. I recognise this actor and hes competent. Hes got a good body of work. I was on the fence about this drama as I've come from Meet Yourself but lets see for a few more episodes.
