Dropped after 5 eps. Everything feel flat from the get go and i tried to keep watching hopeful it will improve but unfortunately it stay the same or maybe worse? But still thanks to the subber who sub this series :)
Unfortunately it is the latter but still good revenge series.
The cheating part is on FL anyway. This is one of the rare in KDrama where the ML stay true to his revenge mission and not change when he find love lol.
Overall i really like this dark mystery saeguk drama esp but after they reveal the identity of Hongrang so early and then introduce the love plot it going down a bit. Wish there no love plot and story just focus on the revenge mission. Love most of the OST ❤️.
I wonder what the change they made to approve this release this time. I kinda excited to watch after watch the 1st trailer they release long time ago and read that ML is base on real person who is pro Qing dynasty.
Right. Feel like he doesn't have character development, still the same guy who make his girlfriend break up with him. And then the drama want to pair him with the FL which imo totally opposite character from him.
The story look interesting at first but it become increasingly boring the more it goes. I feel like almost all the character in this series not interesting enough for you to root for and you just want to fast forward to unravel the mystery.
Finally finished this. This got to be one the best crime series that i watched. Actually i don't like ML character in 1st eps, he feel like your usual loud police detective but after he settled down back in his old place and i love his banter with his partner LYW. And the last eps with YY, wow that so heartbreaking. Not forget the OST, it really bring the mood.
How on Earth did this pass censorship? It’s almost like Infernal Affairs….
If you follow CDrama or movies you'll know it will pass censorship if they make sure all criminals get their punishment in the end. Thats why in crime drama you always have long lext in the end that explain it. Now i dont think Infernal Affairs ending will pass their censorsip though
Watching this after Breaking the Shadows and this one def more good and high quality. Its more mystery than thriller but the music and ost really make this series enjoyable. Im still not finish it so hopefully its quality stay the same and not dropped.
