There was a Japanese movie adaptation of the manga which came before this but Taiwan's Meteor Garden was the first TV adaptation ever. The season 2 episodes followed an original story since they were aired way before the manga series was finished. The storyline of the 2nd season even influenced the manga. The Japanese TV adaptation came after 4 years.

I can't with all the villainy. It started out great but turned too soapy for my taste.

The female lead is such a pushover. She allows men to make unwanted sexual advances, She even decided to work for that sleazy rival of her boyfriend. She allows her friend to make a move on her boyfriend. WTF!

Surprised to still find this on iQIYI. Glad they didn't take it down. Finally got the chance to watch it but I think I preferred the story of Tao Lun and Wen Na over the main couple. Wen Na is my favorite character, she's so perky and oblivious.

I did, multiple times. But I haven't heard back, plus the email address field limits the characters so mine wouldn't fit but they also asked for my mobile phone number.

The app works on my phone and iPad and I can also cast it on my TV with option to skip the credits but the moment you lock the screen, it won't automatically play the next episode. I just wish they'll be able to fix the TV app soon.

Works on my laptop but both Tencent-owned WeTV and iflix apps are coming up with parameter error on my TV. They're the only platforms showing YAMG in my country. I had to to make do with the browser version because the apps are only compatible with iOS, not Mac. I can use AirPlay to cast it on my TV but I can't skip the credits, which is annoying because they're full of spoilers.
