I read your first comments yesterday and tried to clarify your point. I know nothing you said was meant to shade HL in any way. I felt you were misunderstood. And it went both ways. But when it started to get out of hand, I really didn't want to read anymore so I just stuck with my one point. But for that I was called a senseless parrot. I didn't respond to that because I tried to see from that person's pov that she was frustrated. Now it is overblown from a misunderstanding. Nobody hated on HL from what I saw. Certainly not me! I am not new to HL. I watched it when it aired 2 years ago and watched it more times than I care to say. And I love both TFF and HL as I said before. Yes, I repeat myself.
You are right that all top dramas have trolls. I even feel some of those who have been trolling recently are pretending to be fans of certain dramas or hiding behind other fandoms. It is all so silly. They are just dramas. If we like them, we like them. If not, then don't watch. It would be nice if all the animosity would stop, but it will not, so I have taken to just ignoring hate because hate wants attention. I think you have expressed yourself quite well here. It might be slow burn but I could not get enough of the time Sang Yan and Yi Fan spent together. The 45 min episode went so fast. But if you want something more fast paced, I highly recommend Hidden Love. Sang Yan is different in HL but I loved him there as Sang Zhi's older brother. Sang Zhi is 1000 times better in HL as she is the FL there and played so well by Lusi. I envy you watching it for the first time.

I just feel they intentionally made Sang Zhi bland in TFF which is fine with me because I cannot see anyone else as Sang Zhi but Lusi. You watched TFF first, so you didn't know any other Sang Zhi. I went in with no expectations and TFF is not about Sang Zhi anyway. I imagine that once you watched HL after you were pleasantly surprised at the difference with Lusi as Sang Zhi. She owned it in HL!
