I don’t think there is another drama with the HL vibe because what made it unique is the chemistry between Lusi and CZY and Lusi and Victor Ma. I enjoyed the humor in the Sang sibling scenes as much as the romance. We just have to keep rewatching. I know some people like to start their rewatch when Sang Zhi goes to college but the earlier episodes are so funny. I like to watch from ep 1.

Wait! Deema sells HL items? I have looked at her page but only for edits on HL and TFF. I am not a big Kdrama fan though so I don't check her page often and she mostly promotes Kdramas. The other drama was Never Too Late. It more focused on the FL and the older lady. He is there as her boyfriend I think. I don't remember if they got married. But it is not romance. I only watched it once.

I cannot think of any drama that affected me the way HL did in terms of its delightful vibe. Before HL, I only searched MDL for names of romance dramas with happy endings. I didn't even know there was a discussion forum if I scrolled down. I basically read the reviews to see if it was something I would want to watch. But when I watched HL, I felt the need to express myself so I registered. To my shock, I saw the negative comments. I visited this page a few weeks ago and people were still talking about that same topic ☹️

Let me know when you have written your review. I remember when I wrote my review I had to sort through the giddiness to talk about the emotional depth because HL is not just fluff. For all the sweetness, I felt there was more to it. Jiaxu made an impression on me that even though he had a tough family life and had to work hard to pay off his family's debts, he was kind hearted and considerate of others. This was evident in the way he taught Sang Zhi how to nicely turn away someone who likes her. I liked that about him. He was a good "big brother" and she in turn, became his biggest protector. And not only that, she showed him that he deserved to be loved. Well, I am sure you saw all that.

I found myself back to watching HL just to see Lusi and Victor Ma in their sibling scenes. The sports day episode had me laughing. Sang Zhi trying to do the high jump was hilarious and the look on Sang Yan's face as he watched his sister was topping on the cake. But they also have a touching side. When Sang Zhi turned to Sang Yan and bawled her eyes out, you can see it hurt him to see her cry and he would do anything to get her to stop. I already accepted that Lusi wasn't going to play Sang Zhi in TFF so I went in with no expectation. I don't know if I am right but I feel TFF downplayed Sang Zhi because there is no way that role can be duplicated.

I love them both. I visit here now and then because of my love for HL. I read the first few comments and made a response to say both TFF and HL are excellent dramas. And that came from my heart. As I stated before, I stopped reading all the comments because it got so nasty and I felt uncomfortable.
I don't know if this page is ever not active. Every time, I come in here, there are always people commenting. I think many like myself revisit and I know from the comments in TFF that many are also watching HL after watching TFF. It was a surprise to me that there are still people who haven't seen HL or are just watching because even Kdrama lovers watched HL when it aired 😂
I see some posts saying May. I guess either May or June would be better than later in the year. I am just glad we have one Lusi drama coming soon. I am. not sure what is going on with Almost Lover.
