Same here on every point.I really enjoyed Victor Ma, but he was quite different to the TFF novel.
Lusi and Victor would meet to discuss how they would play their parts as siblings. They had so much fun. They are good friends in real life and Lusi asked him to take the part as Sang Yan when the original director dropped HL and they lost financial backing.

I am trying not to watch it again for a few months so maybe I might forget some of it.
It doesn't help that I see something about TFF or BJT everywhere. People are using the TFF OST for video edits. I hear them and I come right back here.

I rate by my enjoyment also. There are times I don't enjoy it as much but I can see the acting is good as well as production that I will try to take that into consideration. I have been watching mini dramas and I try to rate them as mini dramas and not the same as full dramas. Some of the dramas I rated high when I first started watching Cdramas might not have been as high now. I see you liked ALP. I have been told it is one of Xu Kai's best but I cannot seem to get past the first episode. I will keep trying.

OMG! Same for me! That is exactly what I did. I couldn't get into GGS2 so I skipped through for Li Xian and Yang Zi. I am going to check your list for dramas. It seems we have similar reactions.

I started watching the second link from your original then I switched to the 7th because the second link was showing subtitles and the title of the page at the bottom and my eyes kept going to the same large print on the bottom. Do you know that when HL came out, it was the first cdrama for a popular Kdrama page on Instagram? Her name is Deema and I checked out her page when I saw HL come up. She loved HL so much and praised it on her page. Many Kdrama lovers watched HL. You are so late! But better late than never as it is delightful. I loved all the smiles between Sang Zhi and Jiaxu. The flirting was so cute. The strawberry scene was one of my favorites. You said you were close to the end so I am sure you watched it already. Sorry if you didn't see it yet but all I said was "strawberry." 🤭

I guess some want to watch her reviews but she made her comments as soon as HL started. Grooming didn't even come to mind when I was watching. It was so unpleasant to read about it here after feeling so delighted watching HL.

I was surprised to see so many had not watched HL yet. I watched while it was airing because a friend asked me if I was going to watch it. I was still new to Cdramas and knew Lusi from WRTW. I got hooked from the first episode. And from there, HL was one smile after another. Of course there were some tears too but it is mostly such a delightful drama. HL was the first Cdrama for many Kdrama lovers. I thought everyone watched HL by now. But from the comments on the TFF page, many found HL after watching TFF.

I well written review, i loved everything about this drama
I think this was one of my first reviews on MDL. Tbank you for reading. It is a sweet drama with some emotional depth. It started with Jiaxu helping Sang Zhi but it developed to where it was he adult Sang Zhi who helped Jiaxu heal and made him feel he was worth loving.
