I tried to step in to explain her point but then it got to be unpleasant! I didn't see how she could be accused of liking her own comments as there were likes on the other comments also. If @ Precious is reading this, maybe next time just ignore.

I read some and responded but then there were too many comments and I started to feel uncomfortable and didn't read them all. I made my comment saying I love both HL and TFF. While I agree that TFF as a spinoff attracted many, I feel TFF has its own attributes and gained popularity on its own. Same as HL. There are some who feel TFF would not have been as popular without HL but I disagree. I also pointed out that many are watching HL after watching TFF. Both dramas are amazing, and it is incorrect to say one drama's success is riding on another.

He is so adorable. I didn't notice any kitchen appliances or stove while I was watching because I was too mesmerized by his face. Now when I rewatch I will have to make a note to check it out!

I agree with you! I think they purposely made Sang Zhi in TFF bland. But that is okay because we can go back to HL to watch. But it would have been so good to have Lusi and CZY in TFF. I don't know if you saw Go Go Squid. There is also a Go Go Squid 2. I couldn't get into Go Go Squid 2 but I skimmed through it just to see the leads from the first part. LI Xian and Yang Zi appeared as guest actors.

I enjoyed Victor Ma also. After TFF I found myself missing the Sang siblings from HL so I rewatched their scenes and had so much fun watching again.

Actually I think the Hong Kong arc served a purpose. I dreaded watching it but once I saw Sang Yan traveling to all of Yi Fan's places I understood its purpose. Glad to hear you enjoyed TFF as much as many of did 💗

I think I read your comment earlier that you finished HL and liked it. But then it all got side tracked. I watched it while it was airing and never felt the delight I felt watching HL before! I wish I could forget it and watch it new again but since I watched it 10 times that summer, it is hard to forget!

I don't know how I am twisting this. To be honest, I didn't read all the comments between you guys. It made me feel uncomfortable. I disagree that this page is inactive. I come in often to visit because HL it is a drama that affected me in a way no drama has. It is unique. I read through and "like" comments as I scroll. I imagine there are others who do as well. I know there are people reading the comments even if they are not posting so I don't find it strange to see many likes on any comments.
Both dramas are outstanding. I love them both and hope the casting is as great in the third.

This page is never inactive. Everytime I come in here there is always some discussion. I stay out when I see people still complaining about the age difference because I had enough of that talk while it was airing. This page is even more so as there are people watching HL after watching TFF so it has picked up again. People like myself who watched it while it was airing revisit this page. Therefore, I don't understand your comments about @ Precious liking her own comments or that the TFF comments are getting likes. I can see many likes on recent comments that have nothing to do with TFF. My point is that I like both and they earned popularity on their own credit even if they are linked. Perhaps some here agree with me and liked my comment. Right now I have 9 likes on my first comment to you. It is not that unlikely considering I see another recent comment with 22 likes. This is not an inactive page.

I read through the comments and I did not see anyone discrediting HL. I think everyone agrees that people were excited to have TFF as spinoff and that had many interested in TFF. My understanding is that @Precious is saying the same but she feels TFF earned its popularity on its own. It is a masterpiece in itself. I can speak for myself that I was not so excited about TFF because I have seen Ruonan in one drama before and she was not my preference for this. Once I started watching TFF, I loved it for itself and I loved Ruonan as Yifan. It is not right to say that TFF gained its popularity because of HL. On the contrary, some HL fans did not like TFF because of their expectations. Some of us who loved HL, also loved TFF for itself. They are two different dramas with some crossover, and I love them both!

I agree that TFF gained its success on it's own. I know I went in not expecting to love it and I did and now I cannot move on! As one who also loves HL, I can honestly say my love for TFF has nothing to do with HL.

Neo would be great! But are you sure it is Tian Xiewei? She seems to have a lot of dramas upcoming. I like her but I haven't seen enough of Zhang Jing Yi. It is taking so long for Reborn to come out. Jing Yi was outstanding in L&P and I think she would be great.

All I am saying is, I liked TFF for itself and not for HL. TFF does not owe its popularity to HL. There are many spinoffs that never gain the popularity of its predecessor. TFF success is due to its own attributes. I don't know anything about a user liking her own comments. This page is always active and some TFF fans are watching now after watching TFF. They are both great dramas.

TFF deserves a higher rating for sure. HL also. I love them both.

Only the 2nd, 4th, and 7th link work but the 2nd link is not the same start to the drama.
