I didn't read the novel either. I found spoilers as I was googling it. This is a great drama, full of love. I have watched it twice in 1 week since I was adviced to give it a try. And I cry so much. Their love story is so moving.
So get ready to watch with a box of tissue next to you. It worths it.
You are welcome. In the novel the ending comes after 1000 years and they reunite. In the drama it is halfway. We see Li Su Su and their daughter 500 years after. So they specifically choose to let viewers believe what ever they want to. It Is not that you couldn't notice, they mislead viewers on purpose hmmmm ^_^

I heard that they researched how people in North Korea lived/ dressed. So the drama is true to them on a lot of topics. Moreover this drama is a success in North Korea. The show was distributed there through piracy. I heard that the show was forbidden.

I personnally usually don't really pay to much attention to low rating / bad comments before watching a show. Because several time dramas were bashed on the comment section and the rating was low. But the drama ended up being very good. So I scroll the comment section and read a lot of them before deciding to watch or not a show. I also noticed that some people just watch 1 episode of a show and then, they write a bad review. They rate something they didn't watch. Big NO NO.

Because it is so hilarious, crazy, and the topic is great: What would you do if you ever meet your youngerself (teenager)?
