Yes. From what I see it was also not a one time thing. She was probably repeatedly raped and by several other soldiers maybe. She didn't fight back as she understoos that she couldn't stay in the camp if she kill them, asking for anyone's help also won't work. She accepted it all so she could continue spying Jurchen believing Chirok would one day avenge her father.
It's terribly sad, all the hardship she and her father endured, I cannot blame her for starting the pandemic and wanting everything destroyed.

I see they follow the same formula, evil Villains and OP (Overpowered) main lead.
Whereas Vincenzo has that suave feel and overpowers with wit and strength, Taxi Driver carry dark elements and rages with brawn and organised intel, both indeed satisfying in their own way.

I love this series but I admit that the factor that keeps it from its full potential is the decision to only make it 16episodes, I think even 20episodes is not enough. If they made it longer and kept the original flow, it will probably be more satisfying rather than changing it midway trying to wrap things up quickly and losing the subtle elements that gives the original episodes their flavour.

Episode 14 is a good adrenaline rush, but if you look at it closely it lacked the spark of the earlier episodes. It relied heavily on action sequence and too convenient plot.
Why didn't DoKi just tell HaNa about the basement? Why does he always insist on fighting 1 vs 1mil? At this rate he can join Avengers lol

I do like the earlier format but I believe that is more suited for a long running tv show, given that this only has 16episodes I understand the decision to change the writer and actually try to tie in the whole story rather than going on a episodic format (no matter how entertaining the original format is).

YES! I like Pon a lot from Tra Barb See Chkmpoo and thought he's very handsome, but surprisingly in this series whenever I see him together with 2ndML I just focus on Rut. He definitely outshines ML for me, and also his character is calm and likeable.

She needed evidence that killing fetuses with the predator genes is better for the world.
In general, people's opinion are triggered by emotional response to whatever current events are going on. Without BaReum's killing and also adding the fact that YoHan turned out normal, people are more likely to be less radical and say killing fetus is against basic humans rights.
By letting BaReum go on killing spree, this will heighten people's fear and anger over letting anyone with the predator genes to live. In another perspective, her motive was 'good' as she sees sacrificing the lives of a 'few' victims will push the citizen to favour having the 'kill fetus with predator genes' law pass, which would lead to a safer world.
In the end she got what she wanted anyway. The citizens were still emotional over Bareum's murders and ended up voting in favour of that law.

The child that was beaten under the bridge that Bareum as a kid passed by and ignored. Was that YoHan? Did they show the story behind that or are we just to assume he beaten for being HH son's?
It looks like an overtop 'bullying' for a kid.

This is one ambitious scriptwriting, with all the twist and turns I initially highly doubted they could wrap it up nicely and it will be full of plotholes.
Surprising they did connect everything and it was a satisfying and emotional ending.

She was not pardoned to lived free, it was all for show so they can kill her outside.
Her driver brought her to a dark tunnel and took out a knife. It is heavily implied the President is still holding a grudge (specially for his son's (Nepo) death.)

After waiting for more than a year and finally watching the first 2 episodes, I must say I'm completely disappointed. It's so cringey. Lan's reasoning was also ove the top absurd, several characters are annoying and absolute cringe.
I'll probably wait til more episodes are out and see the reviews.

On a positive note, I like the 2nd male lead.

They have the most complicated relationship out of all the kdramas I watched.
This show definitely has a different feel to it.
I can't even describe it properly, it's a mixture of weirdness, fantasy, melo, dry humor, sometimes even feel like horror to me. And the romance of course. Ending doesn't seem to be happy but maybe it will surprise us.

I was right about my theory related to the title.
Poor Yohan, it seems even his Mom actually believed he was the killer. He was such a warm and sweet boy but the prejudice around him for being HSJ's son made him cold and reclusive.

Here I am thinking that U Data director is cartoonishly evil only to find out this case is based on real events, and there is even a video of the real slapping and humiliation scene of an employee!
Forget about the romance shipping, stuntman issues etc. Just wanna say kudos to the director and the writer for being brave and presenting real society issues and not really holding back in making things provocative.
We can only wish that in real life we also have these dark heros like Mr. Jang's gang to avenge for justice.
