Let's be real - the drama is good, and the game part madeit more fun. It kinda felt like two shows in one. But…
As others have pointed out, it's strange that you're comparing two unrelated dramas in terms of rating. Almost feels like you're hating for no reason apart from jealousy over this drama's success. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
I personally enjoyed LBL much better. I did like SOM, and while it was airing I was actively promoting the drama in the comments; however, after around ep 20 it started to get draggy which is why I've put it on hold. IMO, the writing is sloppy and overdramatic compared to LBL. The business scenes are dry and skippable in SOM, while the architecture scenes in LBL have people invested. You can have your opinion, but you're clearly outnumbered. So calling it "let's be real" might not be the best way to phrase it. .
there is a good chance it's going to be the same lame ending we always see, they do these ending to be able to…
yeah, I know...I wonder why they keep writing these scripts :( Because even with the other transmigration dramas, no matter how good the rest of the episodes were, the ending always drags down the ratings. Isn't it bad for them? So why do they keep making these, ugh...
I'm a little scared to watch this because I don't like how cdramas deal with the whole transmigration thing :( I don't want it to have some lame ending where they don't end up together or it turns out to be a dream, etc.
So, I wanna ask, this drama is like Love O2O? Or Love Scenery? When ML and FL fell in love in both worlds like…
This drama is not like those ones at all. The ML and FL clearly know each other's identities in real life. They become coworkers, and the romance takes place outside the game world. The VR is only the place that they first met at, otherwise their entire story develops like a normal rom-com.
This drama is relatively chill and well-written, hence the high rating. The actors did a great job and their chemistry is amazing!!
In case you're hesitating, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do give this drama a try!! It's beautifully written from start to finish, with relatively few complications or misunderstandings- the two leads communicate their thoughts and feelings honestly and sort out any issues between them quickly. Both are very likeable & hardworking individuals, and their respect and love for each other is very obvious throughout. Lots of cute moments guaranteed!
Pei reminds me of the type of delusional man who thinks that just because a woman smiles at him, it means she…
The funny part is, this is exactly what Pei supporters think romance is about 💀 They think oh, Hu Xiu gave him a bandaid, this means they have "chemistry".
I think you are misunderstanding. I like SML’s personal charisma, styling and acting. the dude is hot!I certainly…
I am a fan of the actor and agree with you that his character is well-written and played. However, as evidenced by some comments here and elsewhere, certain viewers hold the above mentioned views. I was addressing them.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it's a little disturbing to see that some viewers would rather have the female lead end up with an antagonistic man simply because they think he has "chemistry" with her and he looks hot. It's ridiculous that negative actions and emotions are equated to so-called "chemistry". This drama is one of the rare occasions when we get a "green flag" male lead who is very mature and honest, and gentle with the FL and yet they seem to be bored with him. Beats me!
I usually get bored of a show once the couple starts dating, but over here it's different- them getting together is making the show even more lovely and addictive. I'm literally giggling over every single interaction they have! Their back-and-forth banter is to DIE for :')

The ones that followed just haven't clicked for me :(

P.S- I think we've met before? Perhaps in the comments of Love Between Lines? ^^
they create their own problems
