So according to the younger Jin sister…her family whom are known to cast the most powerful spells can trap a mage’s power no matter how powerful they are….now we know why Naksu hasn’t got her powers in Mudeok’s body. Lee must’ve known this all along which is why he gave the warning to Naksu not to get her powers back. If Naksu forces her body to get her powers back then she would have broken the spell and complete her transition into her new body..the spell protecting her would be gone and she can go wild thus evil & deserving of death. Can’t wait to see where this will lead….cause we want Mudeok back with her family but at the same time Naksu is our girl and we need her to survive. Both can’t survive in the end unless by some miracle & hopefully it will be so they can merge as one but that’s a long stretch unless they have some connection in the past
Decided to watch this despite the reviews cause of course I miss my man Ji Chang Wook but honestly was awfully disappointed. Didn’t get the usual vibes I get when watching his past dramas. Not sure with all his latest dramas but hopefully he gets out something worth watching again.
Min woo… what a rat 🤦🏻♀️ I keep waiting for his redemption considering he’s the ML’s friend but he just keeps getting worse…after ep 12 it’s unforgivable. And him constantly winging abt unfairness with Woo is so selfish..acting like she never went through discrimination all her life even though she graduated top of the class to deserve her job. If he doesn’t get a deserving knock down it will be a disappointment for the show.
Yes do tell why? I’ve seen her in other dramas & her character is a complete opposite to this one. So I’m guessing it’s not her acting, it’s the character personality written for her here. The only downfall for me were her kiss scenes, but if you watch it thinking her personality is an acting flaw then I beg to differ.
The female that beside master seo gyeoung is the first leader of Jinyowon I guess ,she is blind and the master…
Yes I got that but my theory was (and this is just my guess) that blind girl summon the ice stone and her soul is connected to it and eventually went into the baby of the current Jinyowon leader…there was a part where she begged Jang to save her baby by using the ice stone so that could be a possibility. The baby - now Mu Deok was then born blind & also connected to the ice stone. And that the supposedly Master Seo G turned evil and used soul ejecter….I’m guessing he is now the current Queen/ shaman Choi.
The previews can be misleading. I don't think Mu Deok will be accused of murder..she's walking freely and running…
Yeah I was guessing that the original blind girl is the mage’s soul that originally summoned the Ice stone(beginning of ep7) ….before she was born it was hinted that the baby died in her mum’s belly & she begged Jang to use the ice stone to save it. Baby was born blind and powerful enough to summon the ice stone as well. Naksu was also confused as to why she was given that body so I’m guessing it was the blind girl that chose Naksu to join & share her body hence why she never went wild.
In ep 7 they explained that the lake that Daeho was built around & gives them the special energy/power, once dried up due to famine. Because of this the mages performed rites to bring back the lake…you can see a blind girl doing this to summon the sky energy and it hailed. All hails melted except one (Ice Stone) that started the soul ejecting war…the person that supposedly stopped this war brought peace & started the the academies (Lee’s Master) Name Master Seo Gyeong. When they named Master Seo Gyeong in ep 7 it clearly showed a man but there next to him you can slightly see a female figure. My guess is they hinted it’s a man but really it’s the woman next to him….the same figure of the blind girl who summon the hails & the Ice stone was next to him.
My guess is that years later when the Jin baby died in her mother’s belly the ice stone was used by Jang to try & save it but instead the soul of the blind girl (who summoned the ice stone) went into the baby instead…thus she was born blind with great energy that can sense & summon the sky energies (rain, wind ect…) that the Daeho Lake originally was created from. And since she originally summoned the Ice Stone then she will also be the only one that can completely control it or destroy it. When Naksu soul shifted she didn’t choose the blind girl…blind girl chose Naksu a great sorceress to enter her which can explain why she never went wild. And with the combine power once it’s awaken then we will know who’s the real boss 🤷🏻♀️
P.S what if the Queen is actually the man who was shown holding the ice stone in ep 7….the one they hinted was Master Seo Gyeong standing next to the blind girl? That would make sense why the queen/shaman Choi is also shown doing the same thing with Ice Stone at the same spot on the lake as that man years ago when the soul ejecter battle started. After so long he would have been powerful enough to shift into a body completely different from his original one.

P.S Drama was still good despite some complaints…I mean she still did what she came to do despite her growing weakness. I personally will rate it good, mainly due to the 1st half! Girl got me squinting, then wide eyed & forgetting to blink 😆

In my experience with such dramas they usually show a soulful/beautiful moment for a character especially if it’s out of the blue when they’re about to kill them off. One of them will die & my money is on Chairman Kang…most likely in the act of saving her. Or it could be both of them together but I’m 100% sure she will not be the one who will die alone…defeats the whole purposes of the plot if all the bad characters survive & the FL ends up the only one dead.
