In ep 7 they explained that the lake that Daeho was built around & gives them the special energy/power, once dried up due to famine. Because of this the mages performed rites to bring back the lake…you can see a blind girl doing this to summon the sky energy and it hailed. All hails melted except one (Ice Stone) that started the soul ejecting war…the person that supposedly stopped this war brought peace & started the the academies (Lee’s Master) Name Master Seo Gyeong. When they named Master Seo Gyeong in ep 7 it clearly showed a man but there next to him you can slightly see a female figure. My guess is they hinted it’s a man but really it’s the woman next to him….the same figure of the blind girl who summon the hails & the Ice stone was next to him.
My guess is that years later when the Jin baby died in her mother’s belly the ice stone was used by Jang to try & save it but instead the soul of the blind girl (who summoned the ice stone) went into the baby instead…thus she was born blind with great energy that can sense & summon the sky energies (rain, wind ect…) that the Daeho Lake originally was created from. And since she originally summoned the Ice Stone then she will also be the only one that can completely control it or destroy it. When Naksu soul shifted she didn’t choose the blind girl…blind girl chose Naksu a great sorceress to enter her which can explain why she never went wild. And with the combine power once it’s awaken then we will know who’s the real boss 🤷🏻♀️
P.S what if the Queen is actually the man who was shown holding the ice stone in ep 7….the one they hinted was Master Seo Gyeong standing next to the blind girl? That would make sense why the queen/shaman Choi is also shown doing the same thing with Ice Stone at the same spot on the lake as that man years ago when the soul ejecter battle started. After so long he would have been powerful enough to shift into a body completely different from his original one.
13 year revenge…..I would have learned some sort of self defence!
P.S Drama was still good despite some complaints…I mean she still did what she came to do despite her growing weakness. I personally will rate it good, mainly due to the 1st half! Girl got me squinting, then wide eyed & forgetting to blink 😆
Ok yes she definitely caught feelings but approaching him in such a way could also be an act of getting him to come back & confess instead of disappearing.
I’ll be lying if I say that I liked EP15. It is full of romantic cliché and it annoyed me a lot watching. The…
In my experience with such dramas they usually show a soulful/beautiful moment for a character especially if it’s out of the blue when they’re about to kill them off. One of them will die & my money is on Chairman Kang…most likely in the act of saving her. Or it could be both of them together but I’m 100% sure she will not be the one who will die alone…defeats the whole purposes of the plot if all the bad characters survive & the FL ends up the only one dead.
Keep watching…remember this is a 13 year revenge and she’s been married for 5 years. FL comes off cold but she doesn’t harm or will go out of her way to save anyone ‘innocent’ that gets hurt during her revenge. With that in mind I highly suggest you continue watching. There’s a reason behind everything she does
It actually did pretty well in Korea & on Netflix when it aired!!
Yeah Mdl ratings over 8 is considered gold….very rare for a 9 to appear not to mention 10. They fixed the voting on rating issue I think a year or 2 ago and I find it better now…I don’t see weird ratings anymore about unknown dramas nobody watched hit 10 stars or dramas that are far from airing let alone produced just sitting there with only descriptions but have high ratings.
Chinese rom-coms can be full of clichés and that's why I always loved K-dramas more. but this show rose above…
True…although it wasn’t perfect for me but I finished this thinking that the writers wrote it in such a mature & light hearted way. Like most Chinese dramas I kept waiting for the bitchiness that never came lol so it was surprisingly sweet for me
I saw this as a recommendation and got excited…started watching ep 1 then realised I’ve seen it before, then it slowly came back to me that I must have somehow dropped this drama at around ep 5 or so. I only make a rule to rate dramas that I’ve completed or have made past halfway to be fair but currently restarting this and still can’t get past the 1st few episodes…can’t quite put my finger on why I don’t like it, perhaps the pairing of the Leads 🤷🏻♀️
Plot itself ain’t all bad but some parts were a bit far fetched & ridiculous eg. that last grudge. The FL wasn’t too bad but the ML although started off good I felt that he wasn’t as experienced as I thought he was & he would be great except he mostly did the squinting face so cringy lol Can I just add that the babysitter needed to be sacked from the very beginning….like who let’s a kid goes wherever he wanted & do whatever without reporting it to the parents🤦🏻♀️ Let alone let him go with anybody. Overall it was good for passing time but only because I was able to hit skip a lot . The concept is as common as they come but yes the kid was cute enough to continue.
Nearly dropped this halfway…just frustrating that apart from the fact that the lead can kick ass nearly everything never goes in his way! Helpless is the correct term I suppose. It was a struggle to continue watching after investing so much time. 2nd half things started turning but by then I’m already skipping to try to get to the end. Overall it was ok but I don’t think it’s ratings is all that deserving.
So strange watching a drama plot unfold in a fast paced that by ep 10 everything that needed to be discovered was revealed…..leaving you thinking that it was sure nice that they didn’t drag them out but what else is there for the next 6 eps? But surprisingly the drama waltz through nicely. Better yet the learning finally began!!!! I especially liked how the writers came up with gesture for how Ko Seung Tak communicates with Cha Young Min so he doesn’t look like a lunatic talking to himself…I’ve always thought why they don’t use these methods when I watched past dramas like this. 💁🏻♀️For that I commend the writers here for giving me a “Yes, Finally!!!” moment. Overall it wasn’t majorly amazing but it was certainly worthy of a good watch.
I loved this sm. I think some aspects of the villains and the romance could have been improved, but nonetheless…
Yes in some ways but I actually liked that the villains weren’t overly vicious like we commonly see…better yet they don’t get away so easily in a realistic way. And although I love my romance it didn’t matter to me much in this drama…what I would have preferred is more stories with the coma patients

I simply want more 😆
