Leads falling in love quickly is how it’s usually done in movies since it’s only around 2 hrs long….dramas drag them out for our enjoyment, and if you noticed the little details they actually didnt get together till months later since the secretary mentioned that he travels 1/2 an hr for a cafe every morning for months
A good watch…yes FL can be cringing but once you accept that it’s part of her character/personality then it can be considered smooth sailing from there. There were parts I had to skip but they were never for too long or when they show side character’s (not family included) work/romance and it was mostly because I needed to know what’s happening for a certain plot they’ve put through. All in all I like that the leads had years to be apart since they’ve grown up together all their lives…and the fact that even when they are apart living their own lives they still made it back to each other makes their romance more solid. The plot/ story is good and you’ll enjoy it even more if you don’t get too hung up on the little details that don’t even matter. The whole environment gives you good vibes & the interactions between all the characters especially the friendships of the parents to the friendships of their children was really enjoyable to watch and although the leads romance was little to non-existent in the 1st half, it was still a feel good one when the drama ended. Note that if the ending was hinting for next season of another similar future romance between Dou Si Yuan‘s son Yanxi & the Main leads’ daughter Anning then yes I’m all for it 🤗
Already a year and they still haven’t subbed the last few episodes!?? Judging from the comments this drama would have a higher rating if it wasn’t for the unfinished subbing. I’m gonna put it on my ‘Plan to Watch’ list….nothing like enjoying a drama straight through just to not understand the ending.

Hahaha kept waiting for the alarm to ring BL too…I’m not a fan of BL dramas but this drama’s settings was perfect for it..and the leads are so far from perfect ppl that I would have much preferred BL mix to their romance too.

The developer might have explained the show’s intentions in the ending…he was with his brother when he said something about Jojo being an example of Love Alarm making ppl trust it completely and not what their feelings is trying to tell them..it stops ppl developing feelings for better potential partners they meet later on if they’re currently ringing for someone else 🤷🏻♀️

Weirdly enough for me I dropped this drama 3 times after the first few episodes…but it kept being recommended to me on Netflix & I like the cast, so gave it another shot since I had nothing in particular to watch at the time. So this time I went in prepared to watch it through & boy was I not disappointed!!! Yes! The hype matches the drama & now I’m sitting here wanting more, hoping to see this cast again in any shape, form or drama 😆 The plot, writing & OST was A+, acting from everyone down to the precious daughter was A+ & for those like myself that loves romance & are wondering if there are any here..yes it’s very interesting & more than enough here to get your heart pumping. If you’re like me before, looking for more reasons to watch or continue this drama apart from the hype…I say give a good go!! If you end up watching & disliking it in the end i guarantee that it’ll be because of personal taste & not because of the drama itself. Everything & everyone did good through out, there is no denying that. So the worst that could happen is that you’ll watch a good play out drama that’s not to your taste.

They’re pretty straightforward with their relationship…they get together pretty early on into the drama and I wouldn’t really called their little break up a misunderstanding….more like a spur of the moment decision that followed up by pride. And no the main leads never cheated on each other…that was the FL’s ex actions and that also was in the very beginning of the drama.
My main gripe with this show is how blatantly false the conclusion is for almost every character. 1. ALL the deadbeat…
I agree yet also disagree with you. Your theory is totally correct realistically but the way they set up these characters can be excuse for their conclusions. For example the dead beat dads- apart from the ML dad’s the others I felt were understandable….one loved but didn’t know how to show it & his wife although asking to be understood also didn’t understand him. The other was simply a man who was always there for his family but then decided to have a midlife crises & took advantage of his loving wife generosity. The couple fighting, both equally agreed & wanted the child but the important thing was that they didn’t want it for the reason of saving their marriage…it’s very clear that they both fell in love the moment they heard the heart beat. I myself have been in this situation & for that reason I found a new beginning & meaning to life, currently living happily with hubby & that baby is now turning 8 yrs in 2 weeks.🤗 The toxic ML & his dad’s relationships I totally agree with you, I would have for once love to see a child abandone their parent completely in a case like this…I feel K-drama encouraging obedience & happy endings to these kind of toxic parenting needs to be shown less. I underhand it’s their culture to always respect their parents no matter what but it’s very unhealthy & needs to be addressed as such more often.
I’m gonna rate it high because I love the realistic side to all the couples featured in here. From the mains leads one night stand to the cheating ex, the virgin that got clingy to a divorcee who doesn’t want marriage anymore, the loving husband that slacks off never helping with the kids & a couple that lived a long distance relationship that had to learn how to get along again for the sake of their child. Was kind of getting sick of dramas all about love but settles for pecking kisses & holding hands & not to mention blushing when their sleeves get touched 😆 All in all it was a good watch. Some of the parts were a bit boring but it was worth it!
Honestly this is the first time that I’ve actually both love & disappointed with an ending!!! Love it because I enjoyed it & disappointed cause it was too short, felt rushed with some loose ends. Still felt nice finishing it though 💁🏻♀️ If they are trying for an open ending then I’ll forgive, forget & happily await the next season!! And can I say that although our MLs were amazing, I really enjoyed both female leads here a bit more…they are adorable, beautiful & so watchable 😍for me it’s so hard to find ‘completely’ likeable Female actresses! P.s. Hari’s singing on that last episode was so beautiful…I repeated that scene hoping & wanting to hear the whole song!!! Come to think about it I love all the songs here. Highly recommended!
The drama itself wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either…in other words…a bit boring. I understand why people dropped it, it’s the same issues from the beginning till the end and very predictable. The leads were good but couldn’t see the chemistry…they just don’t seem to be a match…it’s very unusual since they seem to do everything right but just couldn’t get carried away by their love story.

Besides that I know he’s still in media aka as an anchor, but I wanted a glimpse of him in the present time as well. And he clearly congratulated her on her marriage when she won her last gold medal so I was curious on when she found the man she now married when we’ve been following everything up to that moment. My disappointment is that it felt a bit rushed
