Wonder if Grand Galaxy Hotel will be similar to Hotel del Luna in term of world setting and stuff because I'm dying to have Lee Do Hyun in a proper fantasy drama.
Btw does anyone has any recommendations about cdramas similar to this one (meaning: somewhat tragic ancient fantasy/wuxia drama heavily focused on the friendship between the characters - little or no romance) cause I feel like I've watched most of them already π
Giving this an 8.0 because the premise was top noch, plus the actors were freaking amazing (loved all the characters no exception), but unfortunately the plot just derailed at some point and they left us with more questions tha answers. It was a nice watch and I did cry int he end, but still, I would have like a more clear resolution/explanation. People who'll binge watch this will probably like this serie more since atp one won't really have time to dewell on what's happening and make theories.
Why the hell is this drama called Fangs of Fortune there's nothing fortunate about all of this like I've been crying for at least five episode straight π
Started this yesterday and I adore the little doctor boy, the kid is so lovable π His interactions with Zhou Yi Chen are so funny and endearing at the same time π₯Ί
The lack of depth or proper flesh in this story is sadly because they probably wanted to make something with a…
Tbh I never expect gmmtv to kill off any of the main characters for the reasons you said, but even so, they still could have find a better way to construct the curse and how resolve the whole conflict. I'm just sad because it feels like a waste of a very interesting premise π₯²
I don't think they would need to do it every leap day because technically they died. It's like rebirth
This could work somehow, but wouldn't the curse pass on their next most loved one like this? Since they didn't broke the curse, they are just "cheating" it. Your theory would make a lot more sense if it were Nigh and Day who "fake" their death, but not on February 29th, they should do it in another random day. That way it would really be like they died and then "born again" so their birthdate wouldn't be February 29th anymore and the curse should stop affecting them. That's a more realistic "cheating" of the curse.
The theme setting, color grading and aesthetic is all fitting well together β¨οΈ
Yes, the photography is on point and the plot seems quite mature, more on the realistic side. I'm already invested since it's not everyday you'll get a lgbtq+ thai drama that tackles such important society changes in their appropriate time period.
Watched the trailer and ngl this has the potential to become one of the most interesting lgbtq+ drama thailand ever put out. If they nail the execution of a story that complex and full of nuances, this drama's gonna be for the history books.
