I guess Korean market devours them (patriotism?) but they are doing poorly on Netflix. I don't bother with them…
I think you've watched only Joseon dynasty dramas because the most dramas are made in that period. Of course fashion evolves over the years. It depends on the time period - Goryeo, Baekjae, Silla, North-South States period, Joseon, Japanese occupation period, and the Korean War period. No lamp hats in most of the periods except for Joseon. https://www.soompi.com/article/1219871wpp/best-historical-k-dramas-watch-time-period
Must got sappy romance in it...I'll pass. Hitting another Korean drama slump.
I don't know.... there's just something very alliromg about this one. Initially, I also thought it was going to be a boring cliche sappy romance but I can't help but enjoy every single interaction of the main couple and the children. it's weirdly refreshing, adorable, and comforting after a long week. You might want to skip all the crazy ahjumma scenes, but the show is really wholesome and quite fast-paced and funny.... give it a try! :)
Is it just me or the set was really bright after the first 2 episodes. The first episodes lighting was natural…
if you watch enough weekend dramas, you'll know this is normal... the production quality is always lower and les natural than the average weekday drama
I found it really cute too. He loves her and wants the best for her but he doesn't consider himself the best option.…
yeah most dramas would pull the "forbidden love" card and drag out ten episodes of them staring longingly at each other as they continue to do absolutely no productive work 😂

It isn't really patriotism- Sageuks are a separate genre that lots of people enjoy. Just like historical shows from all over the world. They aren't very popular with int'l fans because they may not be used to the culture. Personally, I like the swooshy clothes and the historical fights and other scenarios you can't really have in modern dramas :)
I love park dandan but at this point i want her to go abroad get stronger and give that family a run for their…
for that they'll either have to do a time skip or take all the characters to America. I highly doubt that the writer will do a dual country plotline...
We've all glimpsed her inner strength. She isn't your average doormat FL. She's so straightforward, no-nonsense and unafraid when it comes to ML. We all saw how she yelled at him about the kids. She took the kids' side instead of ML's. And the way she didn't let ten episodes go by drowned in "forbidden love," which is the path most dramas like this take. She just tells him to make a decision in 24 hours, which is something I've seen in very few FLs. Maybe she doesn't need to go abroad. She needs 1) FRIENDS, 2) good mentors, 3) time AWAY from those screeching vultures.
BTW how are Jae Ni and the kids going to take the news of thier father dating dandan. They like her but it doesnt…
LOL I can't WAIT for them to realize that she's dating their dad 😂😂😂 that scene where they ask her if she likes someone and she says yes while YG was standing behind her... it's going to be HILARIOUS when everyone finds out!
My prediction(because I like speculating stuff LOL): DD's dad is going to try to convince DD to go to America with Anna Kim, and when YG finds out, he'll also encourage her to go, but then his amnesia will kick in and DD will stay back. And Anna Kim will be all upset and DD's dad will wonder why she's so attached to DD and then the big reveal will happen.
